Willow and Xander's wacky times fit, buffy's kinda felt like someone standing in the background. That being said, nice firefly reference!

I read once that Whedon wanted Brendan for Mal, and the show was supposed to be darker. Wonder what that would have been like.

Then again, Brendan said Joss trolled him with X B for season 7, then cut his eye out, sooo...

Oh man, if willow was screwed on alderan, being a force sensitive in... sensing range of vader is even worse. Then again, vader was in a territorial snit in ANH...

After willow I expected xander to end up in vader's or the emperor's toilet, but she's seriously lost the lottery.

Well... so this first story end's... I can't say it was that entertaining, it was basically the original story with added characters that added nothing to the journey except their comments. I mean sure you had Buffy, Xander & Willow but they resulted in no changes whatsoever to the original storyline, they are more cosmetic additions than practical additions.

So I'd say its a let down, I expected some deviation and their was a absolute lack of deviation from canon, I mean sure it seem that beyond the movie material their seem to be changes, Luke & Buffy being together means that Luke & Mara won't get together or that Luke & Shira Bree that turned out to be an Imperial Infiltrator and turn into a full fledged Sith Lady won't happen too, but otherwise, when it comes to the storyline of the movies, its at 99% the same with a small taste of BTVS added to it.

Also it seem as if the addition of Angelus was merely a plot device to sort of enforce the prevention of changes, by basically being supposedly a counter for Buffy, so he's going to be there to prevent Buffy being too helpful and thus basically suppress the advantage of Buffy's presence in that Universe, considering how lacking in deviation this is already this seem to be merely an attempt to justify the lack in further deviation somehow, so Buffy & Angelus will have their little conflict on the side to prevent her being any use, Xander & Willow will probably tag with her and thus basically just result in another two stories with little to no practical changes.

I have to say...the integration of what I presume is bits and pieces of the radio play and the novelization into the film version of Episode IV added a whole new spin on top of the modifications made by the Scoobies being a part of Han, Luke and Leia's lives before the events of "A New Hope". It's a good spin, and I really can't wait to see how you work it for the other Original Trilogy films :d
