It's a pitty you wont continue this story, you really got me hooked!
I hope your next fiction will be as interesting as this one's been.
The only thing I think you should change is the way you portray the xenomorphs thoughts and dialogues. They appear too human, and not enough... Well, alien.
Smiles, laughter and such expressions of emotions feels odd.
Instead of telling us that Stalker smiled at Scythe, you may say that Scythe could feel Stalkers ammusement.
Just a thought.
Anyway, thanks for an awesome story that I've really emjoyed reading!

I just stumbled upon this story a couple of days ago and I have greatly enjoyed it. I like how you made the aliens the main characters and how you described their lives on the jungle planet. I also liked how you switched back and forth between the alien's perspective and the human's perspective; having both POVs in first person is something I have not seen before in fanfiction and it works well with this story. Now that Luce and Garland know the real reason they're here, I desperately want to know what happens next. I now wait with anticipation for the next update.

This is very intriguing. I can't wait for the next chapter. And so, the plot thickens...

You haven't lost your touch. Your characters are written as dynamically as ever.

However, there was one small detail that I wish to correct. Their endoskeletons are NOT vestigial.

a vestigial structure, by definition, is a bodily structure that no longer serves a function within individuals of a species. For instance, the pelvic structure in whales and snakes, or the gill slits that are present on the neck of a mammal in the embryonic stage of its prenatal development.

In contrast, xenomorph's endoskeleton is there for the same reason that any other vertebrate species would have one; structural support.

Let me explain. Have you ever noticed that insects never grow larger than a certain size? that's because an exoskeleton would not be able to support their mass if they grew any larger. Say you have a spider and you scale it up in size to a body length of about six feet. Its legs would buckle under its weight, it wouldn't be able to breathe, and its body temperature would be impossible to regulate.

For a creature as large as a xenormorph, an endoskeleton would be absolutely essential for structural support, while the chitinous exoskeleton would probably have been an adaptation that aids in preventing their acidic blood from dissolving its way out of their bodies.

If a real biologist suggested that the endoskeleton of a creature that size were vestigial, his reputation among the scientific community would go down the toilet, especially considering that an external skeleton is considered to be a more primitive adaptation than an internal one.

Anyways, kudos for characterisation, but you really need to do more research before talking about the scientific aspect.
