Very sweet, and sounds just like Wash. Made me cry! I have the show and the movie on Blu-Ray but I seldom watch the movie- just because Wash dies. I don't want Wash to ever die! I love your stories, I found your page on Live Journal and read them all (got absolutely NOTHING done the last day!) and loved them all. Especially the body-swap one, that one had me giggling. Please write some more!

Oh my goodness. I feel like this should of made it into the film! It really feels like something Wash would of wrote. You have his personality down to a tee! Well done! Please think of adding a chapter or two. Maybe Zoe's reaction after she read the letter or weather or not she goes through and takes Wash up on his offer? Like I said I really think this is amazing one shot beautifully written and it SO should of been in the film! Well done!

This is so sweet and sad and cute! And it's totally in character for Wash, and I can imagine Zoe reading this and the emotions she must feel and oh I just absolutely love this. Fantastic job. Very, very shiny.

Just so you know, this fic cemented your place on my fav authors list. I swear my eyes got a little glassy at the post script about dinosaurs because that is exactly the kind of thing he would do. I know that the powers that be who cancelled the show (fools, all) put Firefly in a tough spot. All things considred the finale movie was exceptional...but man did I want to see Wash/Zoe fluff in the future. Thank you for resurrecting an amazing character to the best of our piddling human abilities.

I have read just about all the Wash&Zoe stuff I can find on this site. I think this story is the single best piece of Firefly fan fiction out there. Wash's character really comes through perfectly: sweet, funny, touching and hopelessly in love with his wife. The P.S. adds the final stroke of excellence. The lenght is perfect, too. Your other stuff is great, but this is the best of the best.

It feels like I'm going through and systematically favouriting all your stories, but I can't help it, because they're awesome. I love how you’ve captured Wash in this, especially with his asides in brackets. It’s brilliant.

You showed the different sides of Wash's character thoroughly, really felt like I was reading something he had written. Felt very natural and realistic. His love for Zoe really came through strongly in your words.
