Wow, I love how you described child Itachi's memories... it was so realistic!

My eyes actually widen at the last sentence since I have long since knew who Tobi really is in canon and had only knew the Obito theory a while theory's interesting and quite entertaining though and I wonder if there are others that centered around that.

I don't even know what to say, except that this story is by far the best Itachi fic I've ever read. It gives perfect insight into the Uchiha clan, and the relationships between Itachi and the others. You keep him perfectly in character, while at the same time letting us see what's going on behind that face of his.

Honestly, I loved this fic before I was halfway through, but it was the last two lines that made me do a double take. That's the prefect kind of ending: the one that makes you wish for more, for another explanation and interaction, but at the same time lets you know that there won't be one. I love it, and hate it. All in all, wonderful job. I have no doubt I'll be coming back to reread this a lot in the future.

I'm a total sucker for Obito/Itachi pre-massacre stories so this came as a (rather delightful) surprise, seeing as I hadn't read this before.

The way the actual present-time story of Itachi is being played as a background to his memories of Obito... oh and the final line totally made me do a double take there. Lovely, unexpected surprise if now made impossible by canon but whatevs- it's still amazing )

The tiny-bits of insight you give us through Itachi's musings... really, I got nothing at all to complain about here. Loveitloveitloveit!

I don't care if this is now old and inaccurate it was flipping beautiful! Few typo's here and there, but I'll just blame for that one. So many great insights to Itachi and Obito's possible characteristics... Oh man. The memories were just so well crafted. I applaud your ending. Too bad the actual series didn't end up that way. I feel like it would have been more interesting/they could end the danged series sooner. Oh well. More applause to you. :]

I like the ending, especially the last line (where one realises this is another Tobito story).

A bit long, but the way Obito and Itachi interact are played out against a backdrop of several others is nice, especially where the Fourth is punched by Mikoto. Although I'm fairly sure he wasn't known as the future Fourth then, but it still works and flows well.

The way events loop back on themselves (the peanut butter, the jutsu Obito teaches him) is brilliant.

This is, hands down, the best Itachi story I've ever read. I'm probably going to keep this in the back of my head every time I ever look at the canon again...although I know it isn't really canon...

Your work is mature and touching, but always entertaining, something that not many writers can pull off. It looks like you've been on hiatus for a while...but (like many on this site, I'm sure) I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you'll come back to it, and we can enjoy more of your beautiful writing!
