I loved this. It was fluffy and still sad, because they were apart, but I loved the way you handled the distance. I loved how they even freaked out in e-mails/letters, it made them sound so real. The added twist of a pregnancy -and a bet that Derek won, nonetheless- was perfect.

Oh and I love the name, you know, Galen means calm, according to the website I use to look for names, and that's exactly the mellow personality you gave to this baby. LOL for him being named after Alex though. His 2am nachos run paid off, uh? ;)

Thank you for the tiny, happy moments, for the reunion and even the dark-and-twisty moments you wrote in. Thank you for every word.

I really enjoyed this story - what a unique angle - him in Africa for most of it. Technology does make it easier to keep in touch. I was sure it would be a girl. I loved the homecoming :)

Glad I caught up to the end of this fic, I still can't believe it's really over since that was some roller coaster ride! Cute name for the baby, awesome characterization (enjoyed goofy Derek and hormonal Meredith ;)). All in all, I had a ball reading it, hope to see more form you.
