I for reasons unknown to anyone ESPECIALLY myself I'm all my infinite wisdom just decided to rewatch Ace's death because I apparently love to torture myself when I can count on less then both my hands the amount of times a tv show/movie/fanfiction has made me cry and even then it's practically impossible to get me to cry twice over anything(with there being only one other exception to this) so yeah me being me decide to rewatch Ace's death and I then went and searched for some fluffy non AceXLuffy brotherly love to mend my crushed/broken/utterly destroyed heart and found this so thank you for writing some fluff for these two

It's kinda funny to read stories like these. You know, what with Ace being so nice and all. I understand that the rest of Luffy's back story wasn't shown until kinda recently, but I mean funny in a cute, bit refreshing way. It sure was a shock to all of us to see how violent - especially to Luffy - Ace was. Hahaha! :")

Awwww... That was sooo cute; all that fluff warmed me up. I think that rubber is awesome too! So much potential and power and Luffy's genius ideas to make it useful (I seriously never knew that you can vulcanize rubber before Luffy demonstrated it...)

I like this story, it shows the relationship older siblings have towards their younger siblings. It also shows how some people are afraid of people who are different and bully them for it.

No, I don't think that Ace got too violent. After all, Luffy is his younger brother and in my opinion they share a very close bond.

And anyway, just for the record, this fanfiction may be good in another way. You should never tease someone just because their different. I believe that this fanfiction really shows this and that's partly why I like it so much!

I really enjoyed your story. It was so sweet and I know what you mean by being protective. I have a younger brother too and I know how Ace feels. Sorry about that - but I loved it and thought it was very well written.

I thought Ace was fine. :) It was a good story. I'd be that way too if someone picked on my little sister. I may most likely hate her but I'd still beat the crap out of anyone who bugged her.

*starts crying* It's so sweet and wonderful. You did great. Ace wasn't too violent at all. He was just being one of the big brothers in anime whose brother means a lot to him.

Also, you are incredibly right about Luffy. He's a little thick, extremely hyper but he's anything but dumb. That Drum Island arc got me right here *points to heart*. Even though he was hurt, frozen, he saved that poor bunny's mother even if it tried to kill him and when he got to the top, all he cared about was his friend's safety. He's so wonderful!

Back to your story, I think you captured Ace's reaction perfectly. I always think that Luffy was treated like that but we have to learn more. Anyway, you did great and sorry if this review's too long. Bai-Bai! Oh, one more thing, I must hug child Luffy! *hugs him*

i'm the eldest of three girls. and i have a story to tell.

i was in 7th grade and school had been out about 30min but, i had to get a book from the library. now this school isn't very big, in fact it only holds 250 students, so everyone knows everyone. i had got my book, locked up the library and, was getting ready to walk to my friends house when i heard crying and laughing. curious i walked around the corner to see my sisters being picked and beat on. now one of my sisters has downs and the other was just in 5th grade. these guys that were messing with them were in my grade. i was pissed. my sister was BORN that way she can't help it! before i even new what i was doing, i threw my moby dick at the boy closest to me. BA-TANG! right in the head! i then procieded(sp?) to throw the rest of my school supplies while cusing them out and punching any idiot that tried to stop me. i haven't had any trouble from them sense. of corse, i had other problems that week... *cough* *cough* pms *cough**cough*. anyways i think ace was pretty level headed in your story, portaying the character very well.
