This is such a great story, which has unfortunately been buried in time and under countless more popular stories. I have yet to find anything (even beyond ) which captures the characters and spirit of Sonic the Hedgehog so well, and to this day (and probably for a long while coming) this remains my favourite piece of Sonic fiction.

You probably aren't around to see this anymore, but bravo Manwards...bravo.

this is a great story. it was well written and it had a great plot. it was also realistic as far as Sonic goes, and it wasnt to angsty, despite the fact that the Erina clan all technically died.

Great! Definetively one of the best stories on the page! Will always be one of my favorites! I printed it out to take it along on holiday and read in the plane... If you ever plan writing another Sonic fic - I really hope you do - you have to know, I'm going to read it no matter what!

Manwards you know i love this story but I think everyone else should know as well. Very emotional, very clever and getting to the core of what Sonics character is all about. One of the best works of Sonic fiction I've read.

This was extremely well written, and you had me totally hooked until the end...plus, you're descriptions are phenomenal...and the ending was just perfect, too...I really wonder why more people haven't reviewed! It's a shame, really. But anyway, wonderful job. _ I really adored the fic.

Ah, yes most excellent indeed. Eggman's as sneaky as ever, which in truth is just the way I like him. The emotional tidbits were nice, and the action and running was, as always, superb. This story simply has no faults! And plenty of great writing. I go to read the next, and final chapter.

Excellent. Once again you did a most superb obstacle course for Sonic. But the opening segment was even better. Excellent chapter all around. As an Eggman fan I hope that the good Dr. is telling the truth, but also acknowledge that this is somewhat against his nature. I eagerly await more, and once again humbly request that you read and review my own story.

Anyway, great job! Again! At first I thought that Eggman had dropped the thing on purpose, so that one of them would pick it up. I love the fact that their coming to his rescue. In case you haven't figured it out by now, Eggman is my favorite character, and your doing him splendidly. Your doing everything splendedly. I go to read more.

Very good. I've never really enjoyed reading about Sonic running around at breakneck speeds, without something shooting at him... That is until I read this chapter. Like I said, very good. And the boss battle with Eggman, genius writing on that one. As for the Erina Clan... Well I don't know enough about them to make a coment quite yet, but I have the utmost confidence in you.

Dude, this story so totally rocks! I've only read the first chapter, and I'm already adding it to my alert, and favorites list. The very, very begining was a little slow, but I have read stories with a similar writing style before, and thought it would be worth it to stick around. I was right. I think that your biggest strength is your abuility to write such a simple scene in such an entertaining way. I am really enjoying this story, and I will read more soon.
