| graceofnight chapter 1 . 12/22/2006 wonderful one shot. whenever i watch or read The Final Problem and then Empty House, i always wait awhile between the two to symbolize the three years Watson had to wait for Holmes to return. I always have to wonder how much Holmes knew of Watson during those three years and if he ever knew how much Watson must have missed him. that's why i love this fic. such a poignant depiction of the gap between them during that time. beautiful. |
