I had my slumdog millionaire moment when I read the chapter title. Reading the original story was a treat in itself, and, consequently, Rise of the Dark Gems holds a special place in my sappy, nostalgic heart.

Just found your story. I like your blending of the Pokemon and ranger worlds. Nicely done!

Okay, I lOVE what you did with Team Rocket last chapter. That whole segment was the perfect combination of Pokemon and Power Rangers. I could practically hear the awesome fighting music in my head.

However, I feel like this chapter was a little bit anticlimactic. After all the intensity of the first 47.5 chapters, this one was way more subdued. Why did you choose to end the story like this? How long ago did you decide "This fic was crazy enough, the ending is gonna be nothing like that"? Also, this doesn't /feel/ like the ending. (I mean, I kinda never want this fic to end, but also this chapter kinda sounds like it's leading to more chapters.)

That being said, I liked how you ended every character's arc. I'm so happy that Max and 415 got married (although I wish I could have seen her reaction to the proposal. Or was she the one to propose? :O); Brock and Serena's new beginning is as subtle as the rest of their relationship; and little Sarah is getting her own pokemon now. I love it!

Thanks so much for sharing this story with us! You could have easily given up any time along the past DECADE of working on this, but you didn't, and I am really really grateful.

Everything about this story is perfection. I am so grateful that you had this thought then decided to turn it into something the rest of us can read.

My favourite moment of the whole thing is Top's speech to 0 when 0 finally defeats him, and I love that you brought it back into Ash's Final Trial. It was a little bit anticlimactic, but the moment was still very tense.

Also, I love 415/Max's relationship! Ash and May need more cute moments.

I can't wait until you update again! I have such high expectations for the final battle. Are the next two chapters including an epilogue or no?

the last 19 chapters took me at least 4 days to read, imagining the stuff i read is somewhat of a hobby, especially me having a lot of books in queue,

for the review itself...

for one thing your writing improved, comparing from your old drafts that i have, of course there are some wrong grammar on previous chapters, my favorite chapter is 44-46 the hype is real, especially the trial and alternative world one, ill try looking for it on another site that you posted on the author notes...

i'll be patiently waiting for the next chapter...

i have been reading your story as long as chapter 1 waaaay back from 2010 i didn't review because i don't have an account back then

but since you updated i have began rereading the story again from the start it took me at least 3 days to read until this point...

i remember my favorite chapter was 27 because of the sex scene at the end of this chapter, i should know i have a copy of your story from chapters 1-26 that was then when there was no android phones was not even available and i want to read this without the internet, for the review it self looking back your writing style has greatly improved compared to years back, i will reread until the updated one and i will give another review then i will review every chapter till you update

Oh my gosh! I remember 2 years back when I first read this, and it was so freaking amazingly good, and I was near devastated because I thought it was abandoned. Words cannot describe how happy I am that it's at least on your mind, and I'm loving every second of it! My one request for the story is a dramatic happy ending.

Oh God, you finally updated. I can't believe you did. Its been so long I almost forgot this, I had to reread a few chapters but I love it. Please update sooner, remember there are still fans of this story. I have been following you since you wrote this, and I am not gonna give up. I believe you can do it.

I can't begin to count the number of goosebumps I got when I saw your new chapter, and it exceeded any and all expectations. Though we haven't seen Ash undertake his challenge yet, I know you have a big plan in store for that. Also, nice plot-twist with the idea that the other broken Dark Gem's power was split three ways, rather than two as I has presumed.

Lastly, just a third-person perspective to tell you not to feel bad for being gone so long. I am currently undergoing a similar stage that you seem to have just left, but I also know that writing when your not passionate to write just brings about bad results.
