Beautifully done! The Turks are some of my favorites and it’s always wonderful to read a good one! You captured Reno and the feel of being a Turk well. Exactly as I’ve always pictured it.

Great piece, the Turks are a fascinating bunch, and their moral are pretty complex. I like how you added Vincent in here because the Turks pretty much was what he was in the past life, so to speak.

Thank you. Thank you SO much. I have searched and searched for a fic where the Turks realize that Vincent is not only a Turk, but a wronged one. I hoped to find a story that showed the intense loyalty they must have to each other. The only thing that could make it more fantastic is if Tseng was involved (he might have known Vincent or just Veld). However, I don't feel the lack of them. I think this fic is impressive. Thank you again.

Well written and beautiful pacing and flow. You really captured the self-righteous rage of the Turks and their need to defend their own. A lot of people just tend to view the Turks as selfish killers. And while that's true, I've always felt the selfishness extends past the typical 'self.' Because the Turks are more than just one person, and they'll do anything to look out for each other.

Best Turk story I've ever read...bar none! Can't say it any better than that.

Seriously now, I really enjoyed this fic. The reactions of the Turks to Vincent's resurrection is something I've always wanted to see and you did so beautifully.

You write an excellent Reno as well. He's seemingly laid back but in reality is observing, assessing and thinking about everything around him.

Oh -damn- you captured it perfectly. It was amazing, wonderful, freakin' fantastic. Go have a drink or have a party or have a binge on chips, whichever age range you are, because that piece, -that- was the best thing I read in the last...3 months of fanfic. That's counting Mengde's multi-chaptered masterpiece At the End of All Things and PAS' The Fine Line. Yes. Yes, it was that good.

I don't really have anything to say about this that hasn't already been said in previous reviews. This is hands down THE best Turk-centric piece that I've read and I've been reading in this fandom for so very many years.

There's something so stunning about the way you write, how you pack such a punch with nearly every line without a flowering them up with useless exaggerations.

And I can see why Reno would have been pissed that you were neglecting him. Look around at the awful, generic ways he was being portrayed until you came around! ;)

Awsome story. I mean awsome. I've bee looking around for a story that would go into as much detail and care as you have about the Turks. And you did a great job on writing from Reno's perspective.

I just don't know what to say other than it was pretty much dead on, I don't think the people at Square who write the little bio things for the characters could do better.
