Honestly, I'm very frustrated. You've written a wonderful story that has so much depth and life that I wish you would come back and update it. The unfortunate thing is that its been 11 years. But I do hope you're doing alright author, with the while hiding your interest and art behind your parent's back, I hope you're in a better place nowadays. I look forward to the day you do end up updating this story, I don't know when that is or if ever but whenever you feel the most comfortable. I'm glad I did end up finding this story in the end, it is truly a gem.

Wow, this has to be one of the best portrayals of Gaara I've ever read, and ive read a lot. The slow build is incredibly believable and works. I love the uniqueness of not doing the chunnin exams while they're happening and wish more fics would try something like this.

Also, I'm not a huge fan of first person narratives but this works, it's written really well. In some respects I would love to see through kakashi or sasukes perspective but at the same time I kind of like the Intimacy of look through Gaara and Sakura's eyes alone. Wonderful work!

I started reading this story when it was published almost a decade ago now. Though I no longer keep up with fan fiction or anime in general, every year at least once I drop by your page to see if this story has been picked up once again. I will continue to visit every year.
