Great story however you don't "loose" someone you "lose" them.

"Sheppard?" Ronon says, "You ever tell anyone about me crying, I'll kill you." That's the best line ever. Loved it especially since it came after an incredibly deep moving story. Very nicely done.

"Sunday" was very dramatic, but well written. It wouldn't have had such an impact if Carson did not die, but argh! I wish they had let him live! He was such a kind and compassionate man, and with all the fighting and snarkiness they needed someone like Carson to keep people sane (not to mention that he always made me laugh when he got all emotional). The first three seasons were wonderful, but when they wrote off Carson and Elizabeth, the show became a whole lot darker. I haven't even watched all the episodes of 4 and 5 yet, because of that. Thank you for this moment with Sheppard. Also, thanks for the warning on profanity, although I think a 'T' would be in order :)

That was so powerful. I even got teary towards the end...and then I burst out laughing at Ronon's comment. I like that alot.

I hate that episode with every fiber of my being. *smacks the SGA writers* It's not even like Carson's death really added anything to the show. You know, like dying while fighting against the Genii, preventing them from taking over Atlantis. Something like that. No no no, they killed him with an exploding tumor. Lame.

This is one of the best Sunday tags I've read. Sheppard doesn't normally seem the type to cry, but to lose a dear friend like that, this scene was very believable. So was the conversation between Ronon and Sheppard. Well done.

Okay now I'm crying. I love how you really get into the Ronon-Sheppard friendship. They truly are brothers under the skin, comrades in arms, and every other "closer than family" terms you can think of. Okay - gotta stop now or I will be reading all 54 some-odd stories all day. Well done. I haven't seen the episode, but I've read enough to know what to expect. I have worked with the idea of John crying, and I think you handled it well. I also think your choice of Ronon was inspired. Yes, there are plenty out there who will use Elizabeth, or Teyla, or Rodney. But I think Ronon's affirmation from strength is more revealing.
