Reviews for In Memorium
Luthien Surion-my elvish name chapter 1 . 4/3/2010
aw.. this is so sad.. i'm almost crying.. i LOVE little legolas fics, and this one is one that i can totally picture happening.. it's so sweet the way that legolas can understand that the best thing for his friend is for him to be killed, even though legolas is so young, and he doesn't truly understand death yet.. i wish that more of this kind of fic was being written.
The Dancing Cavalier chapter 1 . 3/3/2007
Aww... This was a very well written story. You didn't quite get into the charactors emotions, it was more of a third person omniscent, which is not bad in any way. I like the idea of this story. Very few people would be willing to take on a challenge like this. But I think you overcomed it and did a brillant job. Good job! I know how it feels not to get reviews, so I hope more people review such a good story.
Drakara Nolatari chapter 1 . 2/3/2007
*cries* I am a horse fan as well...poor Barbaro, never had a chance! Poor Legolas! So much angst, but it was very good. It shows how much Legolas likes wildlife, I like that.

Waiting To Be Inspired chapter 1 . 2/3/2007
I love this story. It was really sad what hapened to Barbaro, my grandmother lived really close to the stables were he was kept. I really liked the story, it was sad, but I personally loved it.
PeppyPower chapter 1 . 2/2/2007
A very strong story, very sad and emotional.I guess only people related to horses can understand the full meaning and the pain of each passing. A horse, referring to Barbaro - a racehorse - is sometimes closer to you than a dog or a cat. (I can say this, we have about 50 horses, 2 dogs and one cat on our farm). An absolutely well done fic, thanx! We breed and train race-horses, too, so I hoped and prayed, Barbaro would make it. But when I saw him after surgery, I thought: "what a horrible picture". Not always turns a fractured leg out to be healed just like Sonador's in the movie Dreamer. Oh, I'm rambling, I know, but when it comes to horses, I can NEVER stop. We have a very promising three year old colt I am riding each morning (right now, I'm in hospital, so my brother's up to do it)and I hopefully believe he'll be our new star on the track this year...

BTW, I love all horses of Middle-earth, such great battle-scenes with 'em and all that stuff around them is fascinating, either. Arod and Brego are my favs, okay, with Shadowfax, I don't like his head and his eyes...guess, Yemi Hikari, you should mail me, this is getting out of subject right now...send me a mail, but I'll just be away for about ten days, maybe longer (damned hospital makes people sick all the time...) but I promise to get back to you, okay? Anyway, really a well written story, you should do one with Brego, too (But don't make him die, just let him have some adventure with Estel and Lego).

Ah, to all the MC chronicels guys out there reading this story(I guess cactuskim, NiRi, Draug und Almut WILL read this) - I have discvered a way to get online while in the hospital. I can just stick my needed cable in the phone box of one doctor's office where you can change phones. They say, I can do it from time to time, so I guess I can mail and post again, but not veryday. yack, miss you all...iragreenleaf (with , my penname is PeppyPower, cause my dogs name is peppy, hehe)
