Gosh... I just finished reading the whole story in like... well, let's just say I didn't sleep much, XD.

I want to apologise, because I utterly suck at writing reviews. So all I can say is : Thank you so, so much. You wrote a wonderful story, you integrated your own characters so well, made this all so real and touching... I don't even know how to congratulate your well enough. I just absolutely loved it, and really, there's no other way to put it. I hope you keep writing, because you have a real talent there.

I spent my weekend reading this because I just couldn't seem to put this down. This is fanfastic. You did a great job with putting in Zach. The story flowed well with additions and subtractions you made to the cannon. I really loved reading this. It was a treat to read.

Just read through the entire story this afternoon! What a pleasure! I really enjoyed every bit of it. You did such a wonderful job carefully and slowly building the relationships and unlike a lot of long stories, none of this felt meandering or aimless or filler-ish. Lovely job!

i enjoyed reading this story from begining to end. i still don't like Zak even if your version of him is kind of interesting, but i really liked Emma.

anyway it was strange to see a Lee that is not so much in control of everything and it was kind of strange to see other people - usually Zak - doing things that we are used to see Apollo doing. but worked out well in the end.

Dramatic opening led to a rather interesting storyline, to say the least.

The reasoning behind Lee’s departure and how it affected the Adama family came across very effectively, and your subsequent exploration of how this change affected events in the Fleet (Particularly regarding Zarek’s death) came across very effectively.

The new character dynamics and the complications that result from them- from the obvious issue of the tensions arising from the Lee/Kara/Zak triangle to Adama’s attempts to repair his relationship with his sons- are all portrayed in a highly effective manner, retaining enough elements from the original series to keep the storyline familiar while adding in enough new complications to make this interesting on its own.

If nothing else, your portrayal of Bill Adama- one of my two favourite characters in the series (Helo’s the other one, although I liked Sharon and CylonTigh as well)- perfectly captures everything about him that made him appealing; he might not be the best when it comes to his relationships with people- regardless of how effective he is at being “Galactica”’s commander-, but when he’s given a chance to SEE where he went wrong, he always tries to do the RIGHT thing, rather than the EASY thing.

Plus, of course, the characters of Zak and Emma make two VERY effective OCs (I know Zak’s from canon but since we know so little about him beyond the name he might as well be an OC); engaging characters with interesting personal histories and a very effective bond with the other characters, particularly in Emma’s friendship with Lee and Zak’s bond with Adama.

So... any chance of a sequel looking at the OTHER two seasons of the show?

If nothing else, I wouldn’t mind seeing how things work out with Zak in command of “Pegasus”- I can’t help but think that the ship might actually SURVIVE New Caprica with him in charge; he’d certainly be a bit more ‘together’ than Lee was at that point-, to say nothing of the junior Adamas’ thoughts on their father’s relationship with Roslin...

Well, keep it in mind, and keep up the good work!

I ABSOLUTELY ADORED THIS STORY! I spent two days reading the whole thing and couldn't get enough. I love the way you made Zak completely come to life, and were able to show such a convincing future for everyone! Excellent work!
