ok so maybe you haven't updated this since 2007, but this is an amazing story

I really love this. It's too bad that you may have lost inspiration for it. I think you've done a wonderful job of worldbuilding, in really subtle ways. The Japanese thing made me laugh so hard.

The topic of this AU is really a strange mix, not what you'd expect, but somehow you really make it work. I love struggling artist Zuko, and I would have liked to see more of Iroh in this. BUt I loved the tiny bit about him being betrayed that Zuko works in a COFFEE place. All in all really wonderful and I mourn that there probably won't be more chapters. 3

:( You are a very talented writer..and while zuko is perhaps very slightly OOC, you and I have very similar views on how he should be portrayed in a fanfic. I love the history you incorporate into your writing as well, it slightly reminds me of my favourite author, Robert Harris.

I was surprised and very sad to see that you wrote this going on four years ago! I hope you did not abandon it due to lack off reviews/support. Much like katara views Zuko's lack of customers, I see this story not being continued not only as sad..but also as a crime to world society! please, if just for me, finish this story ;). It is a shame to see such talent wasted.

I LOVE reading about artists. It's just incredibly fascinating to see their thought processes, how they see the world, and that sort of thing. Are you a painter yourself? Besides that, I really like this story. I get kind of tired of Zutara fics, but you've managed to make it interesting again. I look forward to the next time you pick this story back up.

One of the most well written Zutara fan fictions I've read in a long time, not to mention most original. Thoroughly enjoyed it, hope you do more on Zutara.

My mum hates Japanese. Which is an issue with me, seeing as how I learn it at school.

But the story: this is officially my favourite AU. Ever. I like how they interact and how their relationship is progressing and how you write them and - God, I sound like a babbling incoherent fangirl.

And you did research, ohmygod, finally, historical accuracy (well, based on what I can recall right now). I hate stories that use pseudo-history and try to pass it off as real. I'd go on about the right reactions to the Chinese/Japanese thing and the cultural accuracies, but you are Chinese, so...

OOCness is fine in AUs, considering the different backgrounds and so on.

Loved it and love your writing (all). And your description (squee... non-forcedness) And the political undertones. And - I think I might shut up there, before I ramble anymore.
