This is heartbreaking. Poor Tom. How can Mariel do this to him? Yes, I can understand her somewhat. He did lie to her - often. Hell, he lied to everybody. But he must have been so terrified the whole time, that when he tells the truth, they would all hate him and see him as a freak - just like most of them do, now that the truth is out. Part of the truth at least.

And still, the thought of Mariel leaving Tom is so unbearable. He really needs her - she was what gave him hope all those years. Hope and stability and a reason to live.

I'll read on tomorrow - it is late today. But it seems you have abandonned the story a long time ago. What a pity - it is interesting and well written.

I read all 12 chapters in one sitting - I did not get up from my chair until the very end! After reading the first 3 or 4 chapters, I kept saying to myself, "Okay, I will get up to stretch my legs and get a drink of water at the end of this chapter", but I never did, I could not stop reading!

I am a huge fan of Invasion, and while reading this, I pictured all of the characters so vividly in my mind. Your writing is wonderful, and served it's purpose as fan fiction by giving the audience more of what they want from a tv series that ended too quickly. Thank You very much!

Great story so far, however, I noticed a discrepancy between Larkin's baby's name...is it Shannon, or Jenny? In one chapter it's Shannon, and in this last chapter it was Jenny...you should really settle on one name. Other than that it is really good. Can't wait for the next chapters.

Hey, im just starting to read this but already i feel the...sadness...lol fadeing now taht i can at least know a version of what would have happened. The reason Jericho got renewed and invasion didnt, is becuase Invasions fans didnt fight hard enough, and now you can barely find fanfiction or videos anywhere. Im rambaling but anyway never stop writing, its people like you who keep Invasion alive, becuase as long as there still is fanfiction or amv's, it stays alive in our hearts. :)

I have the Series on DVD but it's never been explained HOW Pregnant Hybrids give birth. Then again, Larkin was already pregnant before she became a hybrid XD

Major cliffhanger! I can't wait to see Kira's reaction to learning her mother is alive and what becomes of Larkin and her baby. Tom is going to have a heck of a time explaining Kira's disappearance to Mariel! Your writing is great. Too bad you weren't writing for the show!

Props to you for writing this. To be honest I put my fanfic on hiatus because the fanbase seemed to have died as soon as word came out the show wasn't getting renewed for another season.
