Wonderful story! I love Richard's character in the movie so I was a little skeptical about him in this one, but I still ended up liking your take on him even if it isn't as strong of a liking as in the movie. I like Lex too but I'm glad he wasn't in this story too much. Sometimes I just like a little romance and family stuff without too much going on.

I like your explanation of why his powers come from the sun. I don't know if that's cannon or something you made up, but it makes sense. Kudos.
