This is quite well-written. I very much so like your characterization of Lucius at this age. It is written so well that one might think that this could appear in canon. I first read this story on the rec site and thought Id search you up here. Very nicely written and hope to see more work from you in the future.

I've just finished reading this, and your other story 'Nothing a Good Imperius Wouldn't Solve'. I just wanted to say, I think you are a very talented writer. Thanks for keeping everyone in character, well-rounded, and for painting with words.

i love young snape fics. rather interesting how you added malfoy into it. it fits well. and how snape takes his advice matches very well. eileen prince. it's a well-written scene. the room, the smell. good story.

Oh my God, that was so sad! Poor Severus, his treatment at the hands of those horrible vile boys made me cry ;_; It was horrible! And then Lucius had to go and make those remarks... At least he sent the dog on them. Poor sweet little Severus, how I long to have been his friend. I LOVE his so much! This story was so incredibly well done, very realistic and emotonal. I can imagine Rowling putting this in her Harry Potter books. She SHOULD have put it in her Harry Potter books! I wish she'd make a series with young Severus as the main character, with Lily and Remus and everyone included. This was very sad, but it's one of my favorite stories I've read for fanfiction. You did Severus very well! I wish you'd make more, I'm going to serch for other stories by you.

Your characterisations were extremely well done, and I found it interesting that you gave us a plausable explanation as to why Snape become so infamous for his talents in the Dark Arts when he was at school. This was GOOD. I loved the Lucius as fifteen- he was so perfect- as well as Abraxas Malfoy being to his son so much the way Lucius is to Draco later. What a wonderful piece... your descriptions were just so and the action moved at the perfect pace. Bravo!
