I feel the same way about the fanfics, I love other fandoms and such, but I will always love heero and relena the most. I 100% agree with you how they are my favorite characters and they are so similar etc! I wish i was with this story, update after update. I’m sorry I wasn’t! I have to give a standing ovation! What a wonderful and delightful story I am so glad you finished! I would always talk about this story to my friends how great it was but I was so sad it wasn’t done. I remember reading this way back in the day and then I stopped reading fanfics all together shortly before Relena and the gang got to the poppy fields. I remember it so vividly and I had checked occasionally if you had updated, saw you did but saw it wasn’t complete and for me I just thought it wasn’t worth it to reread it all again for not a compete story. I think that was at chapter 15 or so. Then I discovered just a month ago that had an amazing app! I am not going to lie, I don’t have time to read anymore, and that’s one of the big reasons fanfics are out of my life. however, this app reads to you (though no personality, my imagination became the best of me and the words that the monotone voice spoke became the actual character voices.) thank you so much for finishing and I’m so sorry I wasn’t with you till the end, but I am thankful that I kept your story in my heart all these years and came back to read it. It’s a story that I will always remember and come back to it from time to time to reread it! I wish you wrote more fanfics I am going to read the ones you wrote for sure! I hope you are well and I cannot wait to reread this story in the future!

Chapter updates for this fic have brightened many a day for me over the years. I can't say definitively if 1xr/GundamW fixation is weird or not but, I can say you're definitely not alone in it. Growing up, I watched the show with moderate interest; it was only in/after college that I began to find myself really diving into its plot and characters and finding so much to hold my interest.

The transition from an innocent writing style to darker and more mature suits the story wonderfully. You have preserved and integrated the characters so well throughout that nothing feels sacrificed to the AU. It was a joy to read. Thanks also, for sharing your thoughts as you were writing this; it has inspired me to perhaps go back to my old notebooks and revisit some of my own projects...
