I cannot believe it has been eleven years since this story was published. Every year I come back to this story hoping that it will be updated/completed because it is pure delight. Each character’s essence is captured perfectly and the plot is an amazing mix of romance, comedy and heartbreak. I really want to know how Addison and Derek continue to deal with the trauma while preparing for a new baby. The Addek Revolution is upon us, and my fingers are crossed that we will have a conclusion to one of the best Addek stories out there!

Can't believe I didn't read this story until now. It's perfectly written. I wish more people would write about them, they're unique. I know it's been years since you updated this story and the chance of you doing it again is very, very small. But the thing is that I really, really like this story. Everything about it is perfect, realistic and amazing, so please, pretty please, would you update this story?

This is honestly the one fic that I've read so far that truly moves me to think. Thank you for writing this; it's brought tears to my eyes about 20 times in the 4 hours I've taken to read from Chapter 1 to Chapter 14. It's been bearable, if not enjoyable, to read this story through in one sitting.. I can't wait for the next update! I haven't really been a Derek fan, much less an Addek fan, until now, but wow- I love Derek in this fic. And I love Addison all the more. :]

Just beautiful; you capture the emotions of the difficult return to normality perfectly and I love Mark's little "third wheel" thing. Poor Mark.

Oh my gosh such tension. You used the repeating of the time really well, to build the suspense and I'm actually relieved, in a weird way, that the disaster has happened now... the crazy waiting for it to happen is over. Anyway... this story is love.

So I just spent the past hour reading this with "my city of ruins" on repeat in the backround. And oh my god. Honestly, you could change the names and publish this (even though it makes it all the better being Addek. LOL).

I'm trying to think of the things that I liked the best... a few chapters back at the end Derek was saying how thousands of people were dead, but thousands were also alive, and Addison said "Yeah, but which group are we a part of?" That hit me really hard. I have to say, I never really thought much about September 11th, because I was so young when it happened, but this is amazing, the way that you took a TV show, a soap opera, and turned it into literature using an idea, using historical fiction. (Is 6 years enough to classify it as 'history'?)

Kudos to you. But also darn you, because not only is it after midnight, I won't be able to sleep after reading this. And I think what you are writing is wonderful, and empowering, and a way to educate couch potatoes like myself, who had been in wonderful bubbles of bliss before.

I finally caught up with this story again. I just wanted to comment how much I am enjoying it. Your writing style is so flowing and easy to read. You've really managed to draw me in despite the fact that this isn't one of my favorite pairings. 9/11/2001 was such a tragedy, and I feel like you're handling it with a lot of grace and personal touch. I'm glad that Addison and Derek are slowly coming to terms with things, but that it's slow. Slow is realistic. You don't get a huge shock like this without having some major repercussions. I love how you're showing how the disaster affected everyone in different ways. Addison is detached, Mark is discovering he wants to have someone around who'd miss him, too. Everyone wants normalcy, but they have no idea how to get back to it. Anyway, I'm really glad you're sharing this story, and I look forward to see where you move with it.

Aw, that was so sweet. I hope Addison is doing a little better now. She does need some control back over her life.
