Well, I just read all of this in the span of a few hours and am immensely disappointed that the chapters have stopped. I noticed too that you haven't updated in rather a long while. I doubt my lone review will make a huge difference, but I'm rather hoping that you haven't given up on this story. It's well written, captivating, and quite entertaining. You've captured the personalities of the characters quite well, which is saying something considering how very different all of Yu Yu's characters really are. I really hope you keep writing. :)

I'm happy you didn't give up on this story, and that you're tying up loose ends! The PTSD was unexpected, though it should be interesting if it kicks in while training with Jin. Have a feeling she's going to fit in with the guys, even though she feels estranged now. Updating twice a month sounds great! I have found that updating weekly helps keep me motivated, but different schedules work for different people. Looking forward to the next chapter!

Not to be rude, but I tried reading this a while back and couldn't get past the first few chapters. Just not great. BUT I decided to give it another shot today, and I'm glad I did, because you CLEARLY have done some work on those early chapters since I last read it. The difference is STARK, and in a good way. The language on a sheer technical level went from a 5/10 to a 10/10. I think you added some new metaphors and turns of phrase that really bring the story to life, too (I don't remember any of them and assume they're new).

This fic was first published in, what, 2007? It's been a decade and your progress shows. You have grown in leaps and bounds and those new chapters in particular are fantastic.

Basically you win the "Most Improved Award", and while a pessimist might say that really means "You Used to Suck a Little," PLEASE know i mean it in the best of ways. Be proud of what clearly must have been a lot of hard work, because you don't suck anymore AT ALL, and this fic is getting great.

Favorite part of this chapter is Jin and Yusuke's tussle, hands-down. Sending Yukina after Miranda was a good choice - anyone else would have freaked her out, lol. Looking forward to your update next month!

Oh jeez, Jin has no idea Miranda is having a hard time with this. It's cute the way she's so drawn to him but is still trying to figure out if she's OK with the demon thing. It would take anyone a while to adjust to this situation and her reluctance makes a lot of sense. The bit with Yukina was cute and a good, clean way to orient the readers in the timeline as it relates to YYH canon. Also, the bit with the hair dye. It's a nice character moment for Miranda. Good stuff.
