it's far too fast paced to even begin to touch the borders of enjoyment. instead of putting multiple supposedly heartwrenching flashbacks in one chapter, spread them out (as future advice). the speed makes it dull and boring as i hold no attachment to your mary sue.

I liked it, the type of open ending that is wonderful. Thank you for writing.

I hate to be that one person that points these things out... but um, unless you count Russia as part of Europe (which it's not) it's impossible to get from anywhere in Europe to Japan in 6 hours. It takes at least 9 hours just to get from the UAE to Beijing, China and approximately 12 hours to fly from France to Japan, so I'd assume it should take at least 11 hours-and that's if you're flying from Eastern Europe.

No there is absolutely NO problem with liking the Little Mermaid.

oh my,
this is a very special chapter to me.
You know why? Well, this is the very first chapter that actually made me cry.
I cried at L's death in the anime too, but I didn't expect to cry here.
Ignoring the tears on my cheeks, I'm smiling. Because, the story, it's just awesome.
The plot, it follows the storyline in general but still, the scenes are so different, yet amazing.
The emotions, I feel them. (Yeah,if I didn't, I wouldn't sit here crying.. -.- )
The characters are really in character, and I love them (L, Mello, Matt *wink wink* ;) )
I'm looking forward to the rest..
