This was exceptional! I truly felt the sense of melancholy, the brooding, and the depths of fear that Don, Charlie, and Alan felt throughout this wonderfully written story. You are truly a gifted writer!

What a great piece. Laughed and then cried and then laughed over. Too many references to mention, but loved all the deep Don angst. The poor guy has too many demons and so many are down to Alan and Charlie but maybe they can come to terms with them now they are older and wiser.

Different and fresh. A real treat!

Your story is exhausting. From the opening 'cliffhanger' through the mystery of the elephant. You had this reader feeling scared for Don, angry at Alan, confused by Charlie and grateful for Megan. Wonderful soul searching by all of the Eppes men. Thank you for writing this, I enjoyed it immensely. :)

I like this fic and relationship between Don and Charlie. It's a mix of affection and difficulties, just as in the show and it's very well even I have sometimes difficulties to understand because my English is very bad.

Great ff! You really got inside the characters heads and explored what makes them tick. Loved the rollorcoatser you put us all on. Hoping *crosses fingers* that you have written a ff(or have one planned) that explores a little more deeply the years overseas that Don mentions. Anyway- great ff!
