![]() ![]() ![]() Wow. You've astounded me. You have a talent for really being able to make your reader feel, and empathize with the characters you write. Your Sirius is given so much depth, and 13 reasons why he's so volatile and rash. It's certainly a different, much darker Sirius than I'm used to reading, but it certainly makes sense. I can see this story meshing quite well with canon, you really managed to display his inner most desires and flaws. What's more tragic is that he could have gotten the love and affection he clearly yearned for if he went about getting it in a different way. He could have accepted his brother, talked about his feelings to Andromeda instead of pushing her away, played the game like she advised him too and left like she did. Unfortunately Sirius didn't realize, (and I don't blame him) that it's hard to show a puppy affection if they just kick at you. You perfectly displayed how he couldn't let go of the past, and that last line was perfect, so haunting and managed to show all of his self-loathing with one line. All I wanted to do was give him a hug while reading it. You did Sirius' complex, but brilliant character justice. |
![]() ![]() that was so beautifuly sad |
![]() ![]() ![]() wow i didn't think this was going to be painful to read. Anyway, it was great |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love the way Sirius is depicted in this and in all your other stories about him, it seems so real and raw. I love how he's not fake and immature like he is in many Sirius/OC fanfics. Thank you for writing this X |
![]() ![]() ![]() i was trying to think of the right word to describe this, and i came up with 'intense.' that sums it all up. in a good way, obviously. |
![]() ![]() ![]() a perfect breakdown of sirius's character |
![]() ![]() ![]() Madness appears to be a common Black family trait, hm? Except for Tonks. I don't think that she had the time to go off the deep end. Anyway, Tonks was a Hufflepuff. I don't think that Hufflepuffs go crazy. It's just not in their nature. I really liked the Peter-Sirius opinion/viewpoint/thingy. I mean, that's what got me the most about Peter. He was a Gryffindor, but he wasn't brave. Just goes to show that not all Gryffindors are good, just like how not all Slytherins are bad. The even more curious thing is that though he goes crazy, he manages to patch himself up for Harry later. Food for thought. Anyways, I like how you sectioned it up into different points that just kind of showed Sirius deteriorate. Kudos to you. Sincerely, LG16 (yeah, I am reviewing all the stories I read as of today. Consider yourself warned. :D ) |
![]() ![]() ![]() How awfully sad... :[ Tragic. |
![]() ![]() ![]() What a ride. I often find fics in which Sirius is so different from what I think he really is, but this one is spot on. |
![]() ![]() ![]() Fantastic story. :D I think I'm in love with your writing style, as well as how you write Sirius' character. Great job. |
![]() ![]() ![]() This is great! I wish I could think of more to say about it but I loved it! |
![]() ![]() ![]() I love this fic. It is so moving. My favorite character is Sirius and this allows me to obsesse over him a bit more... HehE |
![]() ![]() ![]() Amazing. Heartbreaking. It's a dark view of Sirius, but it suits him perfectly because no matter who he is, no one can ever can feel disliked by family and be cool with that. You made me close to tears. Really, really brilliant. Congrats. |
![]() ![]() ![]() heartbreaking. Thanx you |
![]() ![]() ![]() You honestly made me close to tears. |
