| Lily chapter 23 . 2/20 While it’s true that most can only get 20% of a conversation (as stated in the textbook)- quite a few of us who have been lipreading long before we started to lose our hearing can often get closer to 50% of the conversation if we concentrate. I can hear it playing almost in my mind as I read lips so for Bella to understand practically all of conversation with the vampire venom makes completely sense added to her ability to “hear” through Edward (that would give her the skills to move past the usual comprehension of learning alone when deaf from birth) |
