Aww, this has to be one of the cutest stories ever. The image of L holding a sleeping Near then cuddling with Mello and Matt is just too adorable. L would be such a good father/big brother figure for the three of them.

It's cute how much Mello denies he's scared. Him and Matt walking through the dark house is cute. I love how L eventually agrees with him just to hush him. The little argument at the end is so cute and true of Mello. "Hmm? Nothing…love you three too."

"What, even Near?"

"Yes, all three of you."
