This is amazing and the bone passing is fascinating, the thought that maybe it's about recognizing that the soul is else where really resonated with me, I remember when my dog had to be put down, I held her while they gave the injection, and there was this moment it just wasn't her anymore.

One thing to say: I have mixed feelings about this...

My disbelief just mounted and mounted and mounted. Complete. Utter. WHAT?! Yes, disbelief is the word. This strange feeling. Gobsmacked expression and climbing eyebrows... Yup, I think it's disbelief.

It has been far too long since I read a good Bleach oneshot. This was extremely enjoyable.

This was a really good story...but maybe you could consider reorganizing your five parts into 5 smaller chapters. I get that it's meant to be a one-shot but this is a really long chapter and it would work fine as a multi chapter story.

It's been a long time since you've published this story, but I just wanted to leave a review. I had thought this was going to be an amusing fanfic, which it was, but it turned out to be so much more. I love how you take us through this process. At first it seems silly. But Ichigo soon realizes the implications of his decisions. The little bits with Karin/Chad, Tatsuki, and the others really make this story. I liked how you ended it too. There is some resolution and finality to this entire ordeal of "dying".

I could go on for longer, but I'll just leave it at this. Thanks for the amazing story. I can't believe I never stumbled upon it in the many years I've been in this fandom.

Wow, this story is so well written and so sad. I love how in the beginning it was happy and funny, and then Ichigo started to really think about it all and regret it. Really great job!

A bit unsettling, in a good way. Appreciate the Tatsuki/Ichigo interaction and your portrayal of Isshin. I liked learning about Japanese funeral traditions. I thought white (not black) was the color of mourning; I might be confusing another culture with Japan. :)
