I found this really sweet and cute. It's nice to see some Zoro and Usopp interactions. I loved how he referred to Usopp with his sword name, how Usopp was the first person to know about Kuina, how he was the first to learn the heaviness of Wadou and also, how both Zoro and Usopp can relate with the importance of possessions, Merry for Usopp and Wadou for Zoro. The ending had me smiling and squealing in joy because it shows that the trust both of them have with each other has grown stronger.

Wow... very powerful and meaningful. At first, I thought it would be a little more humorous, but as the story kept moving along, I felt its strong pull and really felt my heart tugged along. Nice... You don't really see many stories that tie Usopp and Zoro as friends, especially since Zoro is a hardcore first mate and often opposes Usopp's cowardly acts.

I really appreciated this new take on their relationship. Very well written.

It's a shame I can't fave this story till the end of time! I couldn't help but be sent into an orgasmic and fangirlish bliss after reading this! Indeed it is as rebecky said; the commonality of these two cherishing gifts from the women in their lifes (past or present) strengthens their bond. The fact that Usopp's bond was made even stronger by becoming something Zoro takes deep pride in (his swords) just made me swoon!

You know, Usopp & Zoro interaction is usually enough to make me enjoy a fic (such moments are few and far between, canon or fandom).

But this moment of interaction you've created, this bond the two of them share that I didn't even THINK of yet is so OBVIOUS, promises made to important women in thier lives..it sheds a whole new light on things. I'm so far beyond 'enjoying' this fic, and I love the relationship of these two more than ever now.

That is an amazing, beautiful story. I give it two thousand and one stars out of five. That's all I can say.
