I believe that that is actually the kind of thing we Earthlings used to go through to get oranges. I'm not entirely sure what the point of this fic was, and it was a bit OOC, but far be it from me to forbid anyone from writing a pointless, OOC fic. The ending was quite sweet, and I like the idea of Qui-Gon having a love of oranges.

Aww. That made me smiley! My only issue was that I kept wondering why Obi-Wan didn't just use the Force to lift the orange out of the water, like Luke with his ship...But, with his attitude, he probably just didn't think about it at the time. :) Very nice.
