I just thought I would put up a very belated review after reading and enjoying this story for the third time. It truly is excellent! The plot is fantastic, with true Midsomer Murders worthy murders, the writing is lovely and you get all the characters just right! And of course, one can never have too much Dan Scott :)

I am putting this review up in hopes that one day you decide to possibly write another Midsomer Murders fic, and to let you know how truly fantastic I think it is. It really does deserve so many more reviews than it has gotten.

A Sergeant Scott story! They're far too rare. Scott's definitely my favourite Midsomer sidekick and you've caught his character, and his relationship with Barnaby, beautifully. Really excellent! Thanks so much for writing this.

Wonderful story! I really loved it and, although the ending was wonderful, am sad that it's finished now. The 'certain something' bit was nice and I try and imagine that scene playing out in my mind. Still up to another MM fic? ) You know, the challenge I posted in another earlier review... ;)

Yeah, very good! ) Although I have an exam in Spanish tomorrow and vowed to myself not to read or watch anything in English today, I couldn't resist when I saw your two new chapters. Nice and gentle pace and certainly after four hours of translating tomorrow I can imagine what Scott must feel like... ) Coffee jar looks the same here. *lol* Keep the posts going, they keep me going!

Nice new chapter with a certain twist! I don't know, with Midsomer Murders you don't think the solution would be so easy. Well constructed storyline! Thanks also for your message! You can see the episode I mentioned on YouTube (just in smaller pieces). Would be nice what you can make out of my challenge, as your story here gave me much needed time away sometimes from exam preparations.

Do you know also the episodes with Gavin Troy? The one called 'Ring out your dead'? Would you mind if I challenged you for one story which has to do with that ep.? The following words/ phrases should be in it (although not necessarily in that order): shot, burglary, abduction, 'he cried for his lost love', tongue, rope, barking dog. Would you do it? )

Here's one more for you, Nyx! ) Love reading your story, too! It was nice to start my 'office day' today with one of your chapters, especially when you described the coldness. Made me think: "Lucky me, in the office, warm and cozy with a steaming mug of coffee!" ) Go on, please! I'm waiting for the next chapter!

Wonderful to read more! Really! Although I only know the TV episodes with Troy (I live in Germany), I love this story with Scott because it combines MM with my beloved theatre. Please update soon!

Excellent story! Can't wait to read more! Living in Germany, I don't get to see much of Scott or Jones either, our national channel showing only the epsisodes with Troy at the moment. And on YouTube it is the same. Please write more, I'm yearning for it. Make this a long story, that way you can be sure I'm hooked. )
