And I was so happy for this update too! What happened to InSilva really sucks and I am so sorry to hear that this happened.. I hope her husband and son are doing okay, and I hope you are as well. I may not have been reading your work for a long time but I've read enough to know how close the two of you were. It's really cool of you to be finishing up the stories she was working on in her memory and I bet she knew you would do would do them justice.
I can't wait to start reading her Ocean's 11 flicks after I'm done reading all of your's. I really want to savor the work both of you have done. It would be understandable if you don't write anymore on the Ocean's 11 fandom after you complete her works since this fandom brought you two together, no matter how much I like your stories about it. How very sad, I'm so sorry for your loss. I've followed you both for years, she was a fantastic writer and storyteller.

I’m so fuck*ng sorry. Really. I don’t know what to say. I was thinking about her a couple of months ago, I just can’t believe it. But mostly, I can’t believe she was so passionate about what she did that she thought about her readers in a moment like that. I wrote to her a couple of years ago to ask about Relationship Matters and she’s been so kind and easy-going and she promised me it wasn’t a dead project. I couldn’t believe it when she actually updated the fic, so I’m moved now by your will to finish it, but also please take your time. I’ve been here for more than a decade and I’m really not going anywhere; I’m sure this applies to everyone that loved her stories. Whenever you’ll feel ready, just know that InSilva’s audience is a loyal and lasting one.
Lastly I wanna thank you for sharing such a personal news. I can’t even imagine the depth of your loss. I’m sending you and her family my deepest love. Be sure she will never never never never be forgotten.

Oh, that is so sad. I loved her fics; you both had such incredible stories and your friendship with each other was so evident and made this fandom feel like such a community (even to lurkers like me). Your tribute is lovely and very touching. Her compassion and humor leap off the pages of her work; we are so grateful that she shared her talent with this small fandom. Oh no, I'm so sorry to hear this and I'm so sorry for your loss. The first fic I read in this fandom was one of InSilva's. And I remember being in awe of how she could be both subtle and incredibly moving. Rusty and Saul's relationship in Body and Soul has brought me to tears. And this line in Chapter 7, "He disappears to make another call and later, much later, Rusty realises that this time he hears the numbers being dialled." I'll never forget how it felt to read that for the first time. Like I said, subtle but powerful.

And then I read one of your stories, and I thought, "It's going to take years to read all of the fics in this fandom if they're all this good." I couldn't believe that much talent could be in a fandom I'd only just found, for a movie a lot of my classmates had never heard of.

I was in high school when I found you two and your fics, and I really can't overstate how much they impacted my life. I was very quiet and very hurt and I felt very alone. I read to escape. I was obsessed with things no one around me cared about, like space and gardening and Harry Potter and Ocean's 11. I was very depressed and I remember ditching class when a new chapter was posted so I could read it right away. I felt numb to pretty much everything in my life, but your stories made me care.

I feel so grateful that you and InSilva have shared your writing and your talent with this fandom over the years. Thank you. I'll be thinking of you and her family.

I started reading InSilva's stories way back in 2010? maybe? idk but I started reading her stories because of you and throughout both of your stories I could see how much of a good friend she was to you. I'm sorry for your loss and I hope you're coping well. Even though this was a small fandom I'm sure her stories marked many people, at least they profoundly marked me, thank you for continuing her work.
