| TJ-RK chapter 1 . 7/28/2007 A humor fic that involves two kick-butt characters that are actually in-character and has an original plot to boot! Hurrah! Seriously though, this is an awesome fic you've got here. Just one little thing, though... the semi-colon ain't feelin' the love, man. A semi-colon is used to separate two independent clauses (or sentences) that share a similar idea. For example: The Boston Red Sox are an awesome baseball team; they are so much better than the New York Yankees. See? Both sentences convey the idea that the Red Sox are a great baseball team. On the other hand, the situation in your story was that you used the semi-colon where a comma could have been used instead to separate a phrase from the rest of the sentence. Other than that little thing, though, this story rocks, and it's definitely going on my favorites list. Great job. |
