Thank you for this story. It is nice to be reminded sometimes that Shawn is more than irresponsible. You couldn't trust him with your fishing rod, but you could trust him with your life.

This is a very cool short story; I like how you show both Shawn's surface nature and then something more profound that the observer would never know.

Awww, so sweet. I love the whole Shawn and Gus friendship thing. I wish that they showed more of Shawn's true colors when it come to frienship in the show. Like maybe him really doing something like that.

That was very unique and well written! Shawn often holds little to no regard for Gus and sometimes it's amazing Gus still sticks by him-I adore this story and idea! Plus the idea of Jennifer prompting the memory rather than Gus just remembering it spontaneously was genius!
