Wow, it's been, like, forEVER since I stumbled across Chapter 1 of this fic almost four years ago, and man, has it evolved into something spectacular. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am that you've continued this, and seeing it again brought back all sorts of memories.

I've had the same thing happen. I know exactly how you feel. I lost everything, even a really long report I had been working on. Which really sucked. Take a break from it if you feel wreaked cause you'll only stress yourself out. Push it out of your mind if you can. And when you're feeling better, start it again. Some of the stuff could perhaps be improved, though I think your writing is already excelent. I can't give you any advice on the personal files however.

Just read through the entire fic and I must say I had a nice fuzzy feel through most of it.

My favorite part was when Vincent told her how she felt, I was going all fanboyish over it, so cute.

Looking forward to seeing what insanity you come up with next!

Being a techie, I wanted to tell you that, if you feel comfortable doing it, you can sometimes recover documents from a dead hard disk yourself.

This might help: wiki/PhotoRec

It's a free program that recovers information from dead disks. I've had some luck with it in the past.

The program's included on the free rescue cd here:

Recovering data isn't exactly an easy task, but if you have some time, I thought you might want to try it.

Be strong. I have experience about that too, you see. I had actually written 4 new chaps (which had not yet been published) for my story here, and the updated draft version was stucked in my crashed PC. But I'm quite lucky. I guess the only error was on my monitor, so the old PC's still here, waiting to be backed up.

At the time, it really was discouraging.

But I still actually had the another chaps (minus the updated chap2-3) in my external hard disk.

I can imagine how sucking is that to you.

Especially because, my writings isn't as good as you, and I know laptops are HARDER to be repaired, unlike OLD PC :

Same thing happened to me when my old Dell fried.

My Dad was actually going to install my hard drive (It was bran spankin' new) into my current computer but the way Inspirions are made, it wouldn't support it. ._.

I know how you feel. But I put most of my stuff in my external (Sims 2 stuff) and I kept the external hidden safely. The problem was I put in so much new information like my chapters for my Left 4 Separation fic and all that stuff.

I'm impatiently waiting for the next chapter though c: I'm sorry I didn't review, I was gonna save it for when you finish this, but keep up the good work! The way you put Yuffie's imagination on the games reminds me of myself xD

Drake Nolsa at your service. A fan of your work because this was making me laugh like mad, especially the last chapter. I've actually been wondering what happened this fic. This was fun, Kingdom Hearts and Yuffie seeing herself and the rest in it as well! That was funny.

I'm all for her playing Final Fantasy 7! Time to make bring back memories of their adventures! Oh I know, the date with Cloud should be done! I mean, there are four people that Cloud can date at the Gold Sauser! I always get Yuffie because I love her! Jealous Vincent and possibly something that Yuffie kept quiet about sounds like so much fun! Or Maybe the Wutai incident! Let's see how she likes it when you have no Materia for that section! Or how about both! That's it! Make it a TWO PART CHAPTER of FINAL FANTASY 7! No wait, make it more than 2 parts because there's so many things to pick in that game for Yuffie and Vincent to remember!

And since you did Kingdom Hearts, we can now force her to go into (Re:)Chains of Memories, 367/2 Days, KH 2 and Birth by Sleep. Oh the craziness of it all!
