| Lady Emma Wentworth chapter 4 . 12/24/2010 You know, I don't half mind telling you that I was actually pretty worried about Ianto not returning to Cardiff & Jack. He is so cold, such an emotional robot - almost to Cyberman standards - that I honestly thought he'd go on to TW 5 and have the career of his dreams there, archiving his stubborn Welsh brains out. I really did not think he would go back. To say that I'm glad he did is an understatement, but he's still got the emotional personality of a halibut. Overall, though, this is a fascinating story! I love the look at TW Scotland - and at TW House - I should imagine that place alone kept Ianto in ... um, 'happy' dreams for months! Imagine the entire history of TW at his fingertips - that had to have been an incredible undertaking. Anyway, thank you so much for sharing. |
| musicaluvr chapter 4 . 10/19/2010 Just read this fic in one go and absolutely adored it. 3 Great AU and I especially liked that Ianto was able to get away and gain perspective and find himself in Glasgow. Bonus points for letting him do that while immersing himself in something he excels in. He so deserves to re-discover everything he is capable of and in the end richly benefiting Torchwood for future generations. Also fantastic description on how his relationship with Jack is resolved and they are able to move on to the next level in their relationship - very, very touching without being mushy. Thank you for sharing 3 :D |
