You're right about WB... that particular episode would more than likely appear in Cartoon Network's Adult Swim. This is one ff that will get people talking about how depraved society is becoming. Good job.

Since you're not in the fandom, I can only hope you're still an author, since your talent for writing is too amazing not to be seen by everyone else.

poor Ash's Mom. I just glad that its not true in the anime. Ash really shouldn't believe that he should have never been born. Your story was good.

Excellent story! Despite this only being a one-shot you've managed to load it with intense raw emotion, a touching story, and a very sweet ending. I've read multi-chaptered dramas that haven't impacted me as deeply as this one-shot has. You've definately succeeded in pulling my heartstrings and proving that big things come in small packages. Bravo!

it's a great story!

I planned on reading all your stories, and then reviewing them later. They are just too good for me to stop to review them. I need my dosage of it, and I dunno what I'm gonna do with my life once I'm done. P

But here, I HAD to stop.

The tears started pouring by:

“Do you understand now? I was conceived by rape, Misty, by rape. I didn’t completely understand it when I was a kid, but I do now...I should have never been born...”

And they ended when his ended.

But then my throat started getting sore with those uncried tears by:

“Does that sound like somebody who didn’t want you?” It was less of a question than it was a tender statement of truth. Ash didn’t answer at first, he just gripped her tightly and sobbed once. Misty stroked his hair but he recovered quickly this time and pulled away, wiping his eyes.

And then you made me laugh at:

Warmth washed over her. She grinned as she said, “What, you might love yourself too?”

And I felt uplifting when she said:

“Because you should,” she said seriously, her teasing ended, and her look was so caring that he had to look away in embarrassment. “You’re worth it, Ash—you’re worth it. Don’t you let anybody ever tell you differently and don’t you ever believe anything else. The most important thing is that you love yourself, you hear?”

I have NEVER...EVER read a fanfic that made me feel such a wide range of emotions. You gave me an emotional roller coaster, and as you said in "Ash and Misty's Love," : "This day had been one emotional roller coaster after another. His previous notion that roller coasters had been fun was seriously deluded. Ash decided that he was never visiting a theme park ever again. Or at least not during a mood swing."

Very interesting perspective on the circumstances of ash's birth. I liked it.

We all have our own theories of who ash's father is. I'm not sure if we'll ever know. I personally think it might be Giovanni- but there's alot of disagreement against that. That and some people speculated that it might be the already reigning pokemon master- and Ash would have to fight him later on.

But who knows. At least we can all speculate here on fanfiction dot net.

Wow. I mean, WOW. Despite the fact that the circumstance's of Ash's birth probably wasn't what you've written about, it's a great thought. It explains why his dad never shows up, for one. But not really the whole "journey" thing they talk about early in the anime.

But either way, WOW again. I mean, you made my day. Sorta, anyway. I have been torn for years on the abortion issue concerning rape... and this story gave me new insight on it, I think. I'm still undecided, as each circumstance is different, but hey.

I know that it's hard for single mothers to find a man, as a good coworker/friend of mine recently left an 11 year relationship, and has two kids. You have to find someone who will love you AND your kids, and be good to the kids. I really feel sorry for those people. It's hard to want to be in love, to want a man (or a woman, in a man's case) around, but not really know what to do about it.

Hahaha! Poor Ash. I can't believe Misty said "What, you might love yourself too?". That totally ruined Ash's own little personal admittance/moment. Haha.

I don't understand how the title is a reference to the first movie, though. I'm confused on that part.
