this was VERY well written; reminds me of Rob Thurman's writing in Cal's POV, yet is in third person. Loved it, loved it, loved it!

Aw! This is a great little addition to the book. I love it..seeing inside Niko's head, knowing his thoughts, and reading his love for Cal which is so obvious in his actions and yet not really explored in his thoughts. I love Niko's committment to get Darkling out of Cal...his promise to Cal. Very sweet! I love how you write the boys and look forward to more of your creative Cal andNiko stories!

You know, I really didn't need another fandom. Thanks for that. I had to go and buy "NIGHTLIFE" and "MOONSHINE". Read them both in 2 days. That was all you, - where's the rest of this story? I have to wait until February for Ms. Thurman's next installment. Can you help a sister out?

I love that you've provided us with Niko's point of view. His emotional torment at the end of the novel must have been extreme, and you've provided us a window into that.

Wow. I've waited and waited hoping someone would pick up and write a fic from one of my favorite books! Then tonight Tidia sent me this link, a writer in my own back yard. A writer I liked and enjoyed! Wooho! Ridley's a happy chick. This missing scene so needed to be written. I hope you take it upon yourself to write more my friend. I have considered it myself, but am so wrapped up in ongoing fics at the moment have yet to venture out. But it was so so Nice to see a Niko pov. Thank you for doing this. Excellent job.

I just finished Nightlife today and enjoyed your story. Despite Robyn's character descriptions, I can't help but picture Sam & Dean!

Oh I love this! I LOVE this.

I thought at first it would feel weird reading something of yours that wasn't Supernatural, but this felt so similar and familiar that it didn't feel odd at all. Partially because I've read the book like three times now, but also because it felt so much like Dean and Sam. (But not quite the same. You still make Niko's voice his own. Especially the part about "moving on" - Niko could do that. Dean never would have been able to.)

Awesome short story. Now I'm excited to read the next one!

These are wonderful books, and they do play right into our love for Sam and Dean. I actually smiled when I got the notice that you'd written a story for Cal and Niko. "Brotherly bonds in the chaos of fighting the supernatural." You are so right and it's very well put. The missing scene in nicely done too :)
