I am positively delighted with the characterization of Nanao. The glasses as a barrier between two very separate parts of her personality. M, good stuff there. Or it could be because she's brutal when she fights, that always did appeal to me as a fangirl. Haha. Lovely work!

This two perspective style of writing is really great. I also like the tone, consistency, subject, plot order, closing sentence, and more. What I would REALLY like to see though is an actual story in a present time, and less narrative. I'd love to see the reaction if Shinsui really did see Nanao fight. I also love your unique perspective of Nanao. THANK YOU FOR YOUR TIME AND EFFORT! Now, I admit that I am relatively new to the realm of the Nanao-Kyouraku relationship, but I am not above appreciating good, well-thoughtout writing.

Your piece took a character that we know relatively nothing about, and seemed to give her life: her past, her fears, and her secrets all combined to turn Nanao into more than just a supporting character. I will commend you on the smooth transitions between each thought and each paragraph - the smooth overall structure also made this a better read.

So, all in all, I enjoyed your piece immensely, and I hope to see more from you.

amazing..i think there should be a fight and they get separated and Shunsui finishes first so he goes and finds Nanao and catches the tail end and sees the brutality of Nanao

Wow. I've always thought of Nanao as being a proficient killer but not merciless and overcome by blood lust. Interesting take. I liked it. You stepped out of the box which is the hallmark of a good writer.
