This brought me to tears! Such a sweet moment of closure after reading Finding Himself.
lakelady8425 chapter 1 . 2/9/2018
Lovely happy ending and cure for Cedric. Gwynn Diggory is fascinating and deserves his own book series.

CordeliaHunter chapter 1 . 5/15/2015
Perfect. Dancing with your wife, dipping her low and laughing together... I had a sappy smile on my face. It's the perfect moment. Especially after not being able to dance with her for so long. Thanks for writing this.
Noble Korhedron chapter 1 . 4/7/2014
Aw! Nice one, Gywnn! Now the only thing left is to ease the restrictions on Amortentia for healers and apothecaries.

93 Diagon Alley chapter 1 . 2/24/2012
That was incredible. Unquestionably stupendous.

The best line in the whole story - the one that caused me to cry - was, "you already thanked me. You raised me." Beautiful :)
Montara chapter 1 . 12/25/2011
Thank you for this one-shot. I've read Finding Himself and the sequel so this one-shot was like a gift to me...and I've read it on Christmas Day :D Thank you again! :)
Gioia chapter 1 . 11/24/2011
One reason I have always loved your stories is because of how much of human emotion you infuse into them. You break my heart sometimes. But your stories always seem to have a healing touch of their own, which makes it all so very worthwhile.

I also love how much you understand what it means to live with pain, sickness and infirmity. A lifetime with even one of those three wretched demons is very difficult. But I think that, in many ways, a lifetime of loving someone who suffers from pain, sickness and/or infirmity is just as difficult, if not far more torturous. You captured so much of that here in Gwynn's perspective.

One thing I particularly liked was the disparity between what Cedric sees as pragmatism (he doesn't expect any cure to work; he doesn't think on it any more than he has to; he just gets on with his life) and what Gwynn sees as resignation ("Really, there's acceptance and then there's passivity."). WOW is that ever spot on in describing a key element in the relationship between the patient and their loved ones.

I know you wrote this years ago, but please accept my belated kudos, Min, for this lovely story. Thank you!
