Reading Alec hurt, no one suspected it but Joshua, then every one is worried, then Alex lives! is always a great way to spend my time.

i absolutely ADORE this story! it's so nice to see alec getting some attention, although the poor fella had to go through life-threatening injury to get it. i wanted to hug him so bad while i was reading this. you write him very well, along with the others. i like the way you portrayed his friendship with joshua, and the ending gave me the warm fuzzies. kudos!

A friend of mine and I recently indulged in mini-marathons of Dark Angel from beginning to end (first time for me). We mostly started watching because we knew at some point Jensen was in it (though I happen to like Michael Weatherly too). I wasn't sure at first whether I was even going to like the show, but as it turned out, I ended up enjoying it far more than I expected too. (LOVED Jensen in it.) Anyway, we just finished watching the last five episodes yesterday, and when we were done, I was like "Well, dammit, now I have to go read some DA fanfic 'cause I need 'more'."

This was my very first DA fanfic to read and I loved it. Yes, I did like it a lot when Alec got shot in Freak Nation so this realy was the cherry on top of that Sunday. :-)

I just found this story and I love it. I love Alec and Joshua friendship stories. There's not too many of them out there. I'm glad I wasn't the only one who noticed that Joshua had to help Alec out of the van. Just one problem, though, the reason Alec had problems taking care of that female familiar was because he had been shot in the shoulder and if you watch Alec closely in the fight scenes with her you'd see that his injured arm was practically useless and for all intents and purposes he was fighting one armed. It always ticked me off that they teased Alec about being beaten by the familiar while he was injured, yet, Max didn't have a scratch on her when she was fighting and she almost had her butt handed to her by the familiar. Anyway, great story.

I don't read too many Dark Angel fics. Probably because they usually focus on Max. LOL. I really liked this. I think I just like your writing style, it flows and the writing is seamless! Good job!

Aw! Beautifully done. He really had taken a beating and I was surprised, transgenic or not, that "she" hadn't really hurt him.

I really liked this story and, of course, I really liked Jensen as Alec.

Wow! After reading "Comfort" I had to check right away to see if you did any other DA stuff, and this story did not disappoint! Yet again, you captured Alec and Joshua's friendship perfectly, and I loved seeing how you caught the Alec/Logan dynamic too. I loved when you had Logan talking about Joshua's vigil and he said “I doubt a nuclear bomb could shift him and I pity anyone who tries.” Just perfect. :)

I hope you decide to write more DA stuff in the future. I can't wait to read some of your Supernatural stuff too. If you do Alec this well, I'm sure you've also perfectly captured Dean. :)
