much better ending i enjoyed the story

Hmmm, I went through half of this chapter, but I couldn’t help thinking that Zuko has been living with these expectations his whole life.

He knows(or should know) the marrying age in the Fire Nation is 14, and he knows that he, as part of the royal family, has duties, and anyway, all those subjects aren’t actually a lot. I currently have around just under 20 subjects, before subject choices.

I don’t get why zuko would be acting like this, but maybe I’m wrong, and you have the right idea in mind? Maybe I just don’t want zuko to act like this?

Although having to continue all of these subjects for 5 years would be difficult, every Fire Nation crown prince has done it before, same with marriage, - why is zuko any different.

Yes, he has problems, but doesn’t everyone? Also, how could he think that his uncle, or father, don’t understand - they went through this too!

All in all, this has great potential, as do you, but it doesn’t make sense to me, so I’m out.

I admit I didn't expect it to flow back into canon and then deviate from there. But it's a nice ending. Well done.

I read this before you revised it, and to be honest it wasn't that cool. But this new version is totally cool! (Though it was too happy-ending to happen in the actual series) So rock on, amigo, and here's to many more stories!

This was a good story. One thing I really enjoyed was the way you wrote Mai. It was nice to see her shown in a positive light since she is usually shown as emotionless. Overall, the story flowed well. One thing I noticed in your writing was that you mixed up form for from often, but it was not a big deal.
