As a huge fan of well written POV stories heavy in thought/dialogue, this ranks as one of my favorite stories in this genre by far. You've managed to convincingly portray the psyche of Altima while remaining faithful to the game's lore.

Yup, there were a lot of inconsistencies in the fic regarding the game but since I liked it so much I'll let it slide. Although now I can't help but think of what might have been if St. Ajora had been a girl and had a thing for Ramza. The whole Alma x Ramza bit was, I think very accurate since I always had this gut feeling that Alma kinda liked Ramza.

Not 100% accurate - Ramza and Alma survived at the very least, though what happened to the rest isn't known - and I'm pretty sure Ajora was, in fact, a man... I think he even expressed surprise at being reborn in a female body at the end, but I don't remember.
