It really doesn't surprise me that Edd would know about vehicles. I have a friend that is constantly locking herself out of her car. She does it so much she started to keep a wire hanger with her when she went out! lol XD

I'm all for awkward moments, and boy, was this awkward! Don't worry. I can one up you on this one- I forgot to put my parking break on, and while shopping, some guy ran in and yelled that a little blue station wagon was creeping backwards across the parking lot. I was so embarrassed.

Anyway, I'm really surprised at how well this turned out. It's actually the first Kevin/Double D thing I've read- period. I was a little wary at first, but you pulled it off, and the situation was just perfect!

I especially like that even though Kevin's not being an absolute dick about it, like some people probably would've written him, he does make a few jabs here and there. Double D was also very in character. Plus, it was cool to see Kevin's interest in his bike carry on into his young adulthood.

A very enjoyable story- glad I found it!

This is quite interesting. Not very many fics I've read show the mechanic - car/bike connection with Edd. Although, the whole damsel in distress thing seems to suit him.

I feel better realizing that I'm not the only one who's done that. It was horrible cuz it was raining and I couldn't get into my car. I ended up calling my daddy to pick me up, and he was 30 minutes late! Jeez, I looked like a drowned rat, but I eventually got my car unlocked. Though my family has never let me live that down. Everytime I get out of the car, they ask 'you have your keys?' It gets annoying, specially when they tell people the story...RANDOM PEOPLE ON THE STREET! Oh jeez, my family is insane. Anyway, the point of this 2 AM review is that I liked it and wished I had a nice man (or woman) to help me, but they all drove past...gr...

Ok, I just adored your story. You're an incredible writer. I felt like i was really there in the scene, with all the little detail like the dew on the cars and so on. I'm just envious of your skill.

I enjoyed it so much. It was a subtle display of the pairing, and hinted towards something without jumping the gun. I liked how you didnt pull them out of character but yet you gave them something a little extra than normal, a necessary air of maturity for their spurt to 18. It was so alluring and fun to read. I just loved how you portrayed both of them.
