ADS chapter 1 . 3/25/2011
Wow... you did it. That was THE PERFECT ENDING. If I would have seen it on TV I'd probably sat there in shock long after the show was over.

I knew what was Will's plan, when he made the speech, but just how you wrote it, how you lead to it... and then Jay's process at the end... it touched me deeply.

Thank you so much for this. Now I have to go on mourning over that they ended the original show after only 8 episodes. If they'd known the outturn of this whole story could be THIS... bet my a** they wouldn't have canceled it.

But that's the TV-Show jungle. When you assign to something you just never know if it works for the audience. Or - more importantly - for the TV-Station.

Now look how long it took me to be over it enough to get back to it finally.

Though very belated, thank you for this.

I'm a fan, truly

Really nice story. I liked how you chose to accomodate DiGilio's closure in this fic. This was a very interesting show, and it deserves an ending.

As or the writing, your descriptions are great, very vivid and I like how you wrote the little hints in there, sprinkled through the paragraphs.

Poor Jay. And poor Will.

THanks for sharing,

Maia.

WoW. My mouth was hanging open the whole time!

This is so good, so deep. I love how you used the line "Did you get out?" from the pilot episode!

I can't wait to read the nex chapter!

I am going to cry. I think I really am. That is just so...sad. It's GOOD, don't get me wrong! But it's sad! Poor Will. Poor Jay! *sniffles* Well done!
SidneyMalfoy chapter 1 . 11/15/2007
I'm almost speechless. That's how good this was.

I was literally crying by the end of it. You have no idea how badly I wanted to read something that was based off the finale ever since I read that darn blog. And this was just perfect. No other way to describe it. You did a great job with keeping everyone in character and you handled the friendship between Jay and Will so well.

I truly hope to see more Traveler stories from you.

Fa-bu-lous. I'm still in awe after reading this. You've done a wonderful job with the details snd dialogue. I could literally see each scene before my very eyes. Great job! XD

I really liked this. I thought you dealt with Will and Jay’s relationship very well, and I’m almost a little glad that Will did not get off the hook completely, not Kim. She had never been as close to him as Tyler and Jay had been, and what happened to her is not something that is easily forgettable. It’s not a particularly somber moment, but I thought it was incredibly sad when Conrad Mailer announced the fact that he had separated himself from Will/Stephan to make him a better heir…I wonder if Will had resented or sympathized with Tyler initially, since he had grown up with the wealthy lifestyle. It’s just such a cold thing to do –there are other ways of decreasing his kid’s chance of becoming a spoiled brat –raising him right. Pfft, “my experiment.” Way to go, dad of the year. That was a nicely subtle touch right there.

And of course Jay points out the fact that they’d just found each other –I’m sure he’d be ecstatic to learn that his father was still alive. At least Will’s still trying to do the right thing. I also liked the name drop for Rosalind Freed –whose identity I probably wouldn’t remember if it weren’t for the Traveler forum :) Oh, and the “did you get out” was an excellent connection to the series, another bombing –except this time, he was working to destroy the organization, not help it. The details about Krav Maga also helps explain some of his actions as well. All in all, a great homage and good bye to Traveler and its characters. Excellent job!
