Considering how long it is since you last updated this, it's probably not a good chance for you to update anytime soon, right? Still, I hope you do, since this sounds such a great story. Or could you tell me what you were planning with the plot, I'm so curios. Anyway, hope to hear something from you, one way or another.

Hard stuff going down about Shego's information being as true as can be determined for now. Kim is shaken pretty badly about her callous attitude towards someone she holds, correctly most of the time, in dangerous suspicion as it is proven that Shego was right.

Betty's little talk with Shego gave each a way to express some new insight about the sidekick, and come to an agreement that there is more to him than what is on the surface he displays to all. Each seems ready to look below the surface of Ron Stoppable, but for different reasons.

That 'house arrest' sitch with Kim, Ron and Shego will make for some pretty interesting times for the duration. Kim may go crazy in dealing with the green vixen, but I've gotta believe that most of what the redhead will be fretting over is the proximity of Shego to her boyfriend. This to come, especially after the compassion and reaching out to her that Kim has seen him doing recently. It surprised all the women in that interrogation room in ways they never considered. Depth is present about that boy, and they'd better realize it from now on.

Betty's disciplinary action against Du, hopefully, will give him the time and ability to understand that what they do isn't always written in the GJ manual. We'll see.

Now it seems that Betty is about to assign the good Captain to a little recon mission involving Team Possible and Shego. Something about Ron has her tweaked and she wants to know what that 'blue' secret of his happens to be. Hope Ron can protect his MMP secrets as long as he can, or until Sensei releases him to tell what he is allowed to.

Just before 'Graduation' huh? Then all parties will really be surprised when that release of power comes about...

Well, truth be told I have no idea what the crossover could be. Originally I thought Halo and the Flood, then I thought of Starship Troopers but realized that the MI used powered armor, now, I'm not sure. I've honestly never heard of the armor you described anywhere in sci-fi, and there are literally dozens of real life organizations with that acronym . . . but, after doing a bit of digging I'm beginning to think that the crossover is with DarkSpace; however, since that game takes place entirely in space it is unlikely that that is the crossover. I'm stumped, any clues you can give me in your response to this? . . . Wait, wait, wait, Alien. That it? (It's just popped into my head, I've never even seen the movies, nor do I intend to.)

Motor Ed the counselor: You know, I can actually see that, and in a weird way it suits him.

Shego: I really like her character here.

Kim: needs to get past her hatred of Shego. And she said that she didn't know about Ron's power. Well, she's obviously lying since she has known all about his powers since before the prom.

Ron: Paragon.

Will Du: committed a serious criminal offense, and will likely be charged and convicted.

Drakken: I'm not sure if he can do 'uber-evil'.

Umm, yeah, I was going to do a more dedicated review when I was finished reading this, but I felt compelled to point this out. In this chapter you said that Shego's blood was green, that's impossible. Unless she ether has a large amount of sulfur in her blood (Which is obviously bad for a human), or the oxidizing agent in her blood was copper (Which would make her a Vulcan), there's no way aforementioned blood could be green, and ether way would kill her anyways. OK, I'm done now, sorry to bother you.

A bit of a roller coaster ride of emotions at GJ.

Kim's fears of Ron being hurt by Shego (not so), then her relief at finding him ok (how he was hurt yet to be explained), her incredulity of her boyfriend being more concerned for Shego at the moment than for her (boy will that have to be explained), her absolute certainty of Shego lying about why she was at Kim's home (not so), and her position of superiority over Shego and her claims of Drakken's death (validated by the embarrassed, button-pushing agent Du) all playing within her. Quite a bit of ground to cover and make up here.

Meanwhile Ron almost got stuck in Du's game to put him in a corner that only the agent could manipulate at his discretion. Glad Betty disarmed that subterfuge. Whatever Du was threatening Ron with for the answers that would only make the pompous liaison look good as he butt-kissed and snidely climbed the ladder at GJ, could have put the Monkey Master in trouble with his promised secrets of Yamanouchi. Now about the trouble he's in with Kim... about Shego.

The interrogation underway, Du was forced to reveal something only he knew and was probably going to use as a stepping stone to higher positions at GJ. But from Betty's placement as liaison to Team Possible so as to hopefully get him to work better with them, and his little cover-up about Drakken's lair, he'd better hold out for janitor when this is over.

Kim's sneering pleasure of the possibility of Drakken being dead now will be considered by herself, Ron, and Shego. Ron will help her out, but Kim has to deal with this and make things right. A little OOC for her, maybe?

Like a snowball rolling down a hill, this one is gathering more and more as it rolls on down.

Ron is now going to be under GJ scrutiny for a while from this discovery by Betty's group. Shego and Kim now have made this as personal as it can get, for different reasons: Shego and Kim's remarks about Drakken, Kim for what she suspects may have happened to Ron and her general dislike for the villainess.

Now it's on to GJ and whatever Betty had for Team Possible. Gathering Shego up was a bonus. Wonder if Shego will ever get to continue her conversation with Ron.

Car for Shego? An older muscle car is my guess, but don't have any models in mind.

Nothing like a little Monkey Power to add super-goodness to an already great piece of work. As to your question about the ride for Shego, I see her in a '71 Dodge Challenger convertible with a 383 and a 4-speed (or maybe a TorqueFlite auto, not sure). It's a nice image, if I do say so.

I think I got it and, if I'm right, this fic can only get better

It baffles me that this story doesn't have more reviews. You've got a very interesting plot, your characterization is good and there is enough tension to keep anyone on the edge of their seat.

One reason why people haven't got into the story might be that your prose is a little excessive at times. It takes lots of time and effort to read your chapters without starting to skip paragraphs here and there, especially if you feel like the important stuff is currently going on in dialogue.

But in any case, I'm enjoying this story very much. The way you write Drakken and Shego and the predicament you've thrown them into is very entertaining and quite original, and this chapter in particular felt strong to me because of the interaction between Shego and Ron.

Well I hope you don't bail on this one. It's pretty good, ratio of hits to reviews notwithstanding. Just do what you wish to do, like to do and see it through to the end. As your time allows. I know that last bit.

That was a different perspective on Shego seeking out Ron for emotional support. The surrounding explanations of who she was searching for, what for and why gave a good perspective of what she was and was hoping for. Her reactions were expanded upon while Ron's actions were only described in comparison. It works.

So she laid it out with Ron about Drakken. His turn on POV was to come up soon wasn't it?

Ron's obliviousness about Kim's flirtatious behavior was offset by his reacting to Shego's distress. His Ronness will lead him to gratitude from Shego to retribution from Kim when this is over tonight. Shego knew what he could be for her and what he is to Kim, so she sought him out for comfort and safety for her heart.

Realizing what Kim sees in Ron, she also wishes for someone like him. A knight and jester at the same time, he somehow finds a way to comfort someone in need of this, sometimes at his own expense.

Now with Rufus alerting the redhead of the green villainess in the Possible home, he's about to get caught in a crossfire of all kinds when he gets back into the kitchen.

Well, first off, it looks like Ron is in more trouble than just ticking off his girlfriend and molerat when it comes to being so darn clueless about Kim's advances. The visitor to the Possible home may have spirited him away. Meanwhile Shego is looking for some way to screw with Kim Possible and take onboard someone she can share feelings with...

Big doings in the R & D lab for GJ and the vest they have been testing. Nearly impossible to penetrate with current technology, whatever has severely creased it also is something to be concerned about. More questions to come when the soldier awakens.

Well the alcoholic musings and guidance of Ed has steered Drakken in a direction not suspected by the motor head, as he'll find out soon enough. Like you said, he used enough truth and presented it in such a way that it the epiphany may lead to a different villain than anyone had seen up to then.

Kim should realize that, though she does her very best to not have harm come to pass with those around her on a mission, there are circumstances that are beyond her control. She should not be so down about a wildcard like that soldier from another reality's reactions and actions. She may say she can do anything, but she can't control everything. Ron's concerns about her and the soldier helped Kim a bit, as did her holding on to a comfort in a black shirt and cargoes.

Dr. Director seems to be Will Du with an actual personality, in her overall control of GJ. I see where Kim could end up if she doesn't lighten up about things in her purview. Betty's assessment of her R&D guy shows he is already glass-ceilinged there since he has family. Too much self-imposed overcommitment and lack of delegation by her can lead to a bad spiral in her life and her 'brain-child' if she stays this course.

Now comes what R&D discovered about the traveling soldier and his gear?
