Reviews for Guerilla Potter
Sammi chapter 1 . 6/10
Ooh a dark and twisted, yet completely realistic AU of what could've happened! I like it!
kimjo2 chapter 1 . 5/30
Wow! What a well written premise. I think the characters were very believable and acted true to form. Thanks so much
RSegovia chapter 1 . 5/16
My view on Dumbledore can be summed up in these words: "To be a shining beacon of light, you must be surrounded by darkness." Instead of helping all muggleborns, just help a few. Instead of helping all werewolves, abused children, or half-breeds, just help a few useful ones who will become your devoted followers. I was sad that Harry had to become so bitter, and I don't think they should have published everything they did, but it was certainly effective. I've often thought that the Taboo was perfect for setting up ambushes, and the electrocution one was very satisfying. They probably should have gotten rid of Dumbledore sooner, though.

Thanks for sharing your story!
clara200 chapter 1 . 5/1
Wow brutal but that is how you win war.
GatorLHA2 chapter 1 . 4/24
Very well written, downright realistic.
Matt chapter 1 . 3/28
The ending wasn't a downer, it was a lesson in stupidity. Those people were knowingly doing something illegal, and they were doing it in one of the dumbest possible ways. They deserved what happened to them. Not a sad way to die - an educational way.
Critical reader chapter 1 . 2/19
Desperate situations require desperate measures ... and oh so often the reasons for the actions are not taken into account, the situation is forgotten, the justification ignored. A bitter story indeed, well illustrating the dilemma freedom fighters may find themselves in. They do not win the fight for themselves (if they do at all), but for later generations, and sometimes, despite all the struggle and tears, they just manage to pave the way for the next instalment of injustice. Perhaps not a masterpiece of a story, but moving and enlightening all the same.
AngelLD chapter 1 . 2/15
I agree with this story. I hope Amelia gets her cumupents.
sanbeegoldiewhitey chapter 1 . 2/13
I wish Susan Bones was with the attacking party. Then there would have been payback for Amelia Bones' perfidy.
Snowball1982 chapter 1 . 1/26
Thank you. It was very good. Snowball
obscurereader chapter 1 . 1/11
Man, I loved this story when you first wrote it.

Coming back to it years later...I'm not sure what was wrong with me. Awkward dialogue, wonky characterizations, poorly justified actions from the protagonists, and borderline bashing for everyone not completely in agreement with Harry.
tcl7189 chapter 1 . 12/8/2019
Wow!
Rohan Bernett chapter 1 . 11/23/2019
What's nice and what's effective often don't overlap. Pity Dumbledore was too thick to understand that. Ah well, at least Harry had the right idea.
KnowInsight chapter 1 . 10/6/2019
I always thought Dumbledore's extreme light views were part of so much devastation to the HP world. Voldie's extreme dark was only part. another as that so many witches and wizards were sheep and either unwilling or unable to to defend themselves and their society. the illusion of a black and white world is a fallacy that makes people feel safe. they need to learn the lesson there is not black or white only shades of grey.
Elaine's Spike chapter 1 . 9/19/2019
