I love Jack and Alex's banter here. And Yassen's chacracter is so interesting! He's totally both out-of-control emotionally, expressing anger, but also so IN control, and dangerous, it's a really good EDGE he has, between the two , that makes this thriling to read.

Oooh... exciting! I really love the way you've bulked up the character of Yassen: I've tried, and it's hard to do realistically, since he's such a blank-faced killer and all. You've done it so that he's got a sort of facade... I like that. I like the fact, as well, that you've got the confidence to do that. Alex is realistic, I like Chris Drummond (he reminds me of some kind of school headteacher) and the 'don't do it again' scene with Amil and Jun made this rather more humorous, since I was imagining Chris as a headteacher reprimanding two naughty boys. XD
Vladimir is awesome. If he was canon, I would definitely write about him at least once (oh well - he isn't... is he? I haven't read past Eagle Strike)... and his relationship with Yassen was ...should I say fun to read? It sounds like I'm sadistic, or something. "Yay! Yassen was angsty about his drug problem whilst his cousin drank vodka in angered silence!" sort of thing. I never know what to put... Anyway, I enjoyed it. XD

Please update soon. This is the first alex/yassen fanfic that I've read that doesn't have the two going all Mslash while being filled with lots of angst. I know it's been a while, but SURELY you won't abandon this story, right?

i think alex will be just as uncooporative as Yassen was because Anthony Horowitz says He and Yassen are mirror images of eachother.
And Yassen should get revenge by putting worms in Alex's pillow and/or bed
