Reviews for Water and Winchesters Don't Mix
ccase13 chapter 1 . 3/21/2012
It's nice that someone besides his parents remembers your rowdy student.

At least John was trying to get Sammy to the park while he researched but water features and traffic are very dangerous to kids who's watchers are distracted.
Blacka12 chapter 1 . 7/15/2011
Loved the last sentence of this story and I am now depressed on hearing about Chris. I wish I would've been there to help him. Now you have saddened me XD Another Great story, as i may add :D
doyleshuny chapter 1 . 5/22/2011
OMG I really think a kiddie leash would be perfect for him. I'm nt a John fan but I felt so bad for the poor man when he realised that his baby had fallen into the water. I can sure see that little Sammy was just as stubborn as a certain young man we all know and love! SHEESE! Well done. I'm sorry for the loss of little Chris. I did some teaching too and I lost a little girl named Lyndsey. It broke my heart.
sentarla chapter 1 . 5/17/2010
no, no, no kiddy leash, I agree with dean they are just stupid. A parent that needs one of them, should not have kids. teachers have 30 kids and no leashes so 1 kids is not that hard.
Jazmingirl chapter 1 . 3/13/2009
so sweet and real too
L5472 chapter 1 . 10/11/2008
Aw Sam...stop giving your daddy heart attacks! LOL

And that's sad about Chris [
milkteethbabydoll chapter 1 . 9/24/2008
Oh my gosh. I don't know what to say about Chris... That's just so sad. I'm sorry. Although, that's probably NOT what you want to hear. Honestly though, that hits close to home for me and feel for you for just knowing the boy and what happened to him.

:( I can only imagine how his parents feel...

Anyhoo. Loved the fic. That's just like Sammy and John thinking about the kiddie leash? Too cute. My parents did that for me actually. The leash thing, something about me bolting from a parking lot right near the highway when I was four. Fast runner, they said. Nearly mauled by a pick-up, they said. .
jenilee chapter 1 . 2/22/2008
Gee I thought I'd read all your stories but I missed this one.

Very nice story. It's too bad it was inspired by such sad events.

God your Sammy is so cute. I just want to pick him up and hug him. It's kinda ruining the obsession I have for the older version..Ha Ha!
H pylori chapter 1 . 1/26/2008
Hahaha. You have a nack for writing funny stories. I know my mum needed one of those for me. Instead of water though, I crawled down ten flights of concrete stairs to get to the playgorund!
irishgirl9 chapter 1 . 1/15/2008
THat was a sweet story! Thanks for sharing! I'm sorry to hear about your student.
The Hecateae chapter 1 . 1/9/2008
Cute!
RedDragen chapter 1 . 1/9/2008
I think I like the last line the best.
Twinchy chapter 1 . 1/8/2008
Thanks for writing this. Putting it up here as a dedication to Chris and even using his name for the boy who saved Sam is something special, something never to forget.

Great, even as a little boy, Sammy did know how to use his puppy dog look to his advantage. Sweet.

I'm so glad the youngest Winchester got rescued in time - and kiddy leashes are really a good thing to have for parents with adventurous children on the loose.

Still (and I mean no offence, please), it would be easier to tell the actual story apart from the Author's Note if you put another line in between and/or highlighted the title (like you did with your other fics).
humblefan chapter 1 . 1/8/2008
A very nice story. Making Chris the hero is a very fitting memorial!
1Pagan3 chapter 1 . 1/8/2008
there have been more than once I have thought that kiddie leashes should be standard equipment in the US, but then again... what do I know. ;)

So sorry to hear about your student, and I would imagine that it would still hurt years later... now you've allowed others to remember him, so hopefully that helps a little.
