this story is sooooooo amazing!

This story remains one of my favorites! As you have mentioned, how Derek was written off the show put me off to Greys and while I have not watched seasons 12-15...I recently had time to go back and watch the beginning seasons and fell in love with Meredith and Derek all over again. Then I went back to my bookmarked favorite stories and started reading this about a week ago. I missed the last few chapters while I was in my no greys zone so I was so happy to read those! I just finished this chapter I really wish this is what the show could have shown us. This is how I believe it would have ended! Anyway I know it has been a few years since you last posted and that means a million things could have happened. I hope this review finds you and your family and friends happy and well. I hope you will continue this amazing story but I understand how hard it must be with all the crap that has been done to one of my former favorite shows and characters. Thank you for what you have given us though! It is truly AMAZING!

Great story! I really liked the way the story was going and the way you portrayed the various characters, especially Lilly!

One thing I did notice and wanted to point out was that after the wedding, you wrote Meredith going by Dr. Shepherd, but some time after Lilly was born, you had her going by Dr. Grey again.

I quit watching but I read my favorite MerDer stories each new season. You Have Kept the Magic Alive with this beautiful story. I'm off to my seasonal reread. Thank You so very much for this story. Hope you feel inspired again soonish to add some more chapters.

I'm re-reading this for the first time in years and just realized. Charlotte has my birthday (which I knew, because I remember asking you to make Charlotte a due date baby and you did!), but at that time my nephew wasn't born yet. He is now and his birthday is only 2 days off from Lilly's :D He's a June 3th baby. :) So with the holidays, he should act a little like Lilly. A little, because he's not nearly as advanced as she is. He's just starting to walk on his own and though he has been babbling for months now, we're only recently starting to really understand, instead of guessing, what he says. And he doesn't know parts of his brain, but that's okay. None of his family members do either. :D He's perfect though.

This is the BEST Merder fanfic I have ever read! Would love to see you finish it some day :)
