This is one of those times when I wish fanfic could be legally published without copyright infringement or besmirching the FF author’s integrity. I want this book. I want it on my shelf. I want it on my kindle. I want it signed. I wish I had been able to annotate the entire thing because this review would be so much longer and more meaningful. I’m going to try to express some of what is in my heart anyway.

I work in a library and have many, many options for reading material. I’m inundated daily with things I want to read. I often have a dozen sitting on my shelf just begging me to lay eyes on them. It’s a troublesome if joyous place for a literary addict to work. But you made me check them all back in. Your story is one of the most engrossing I have ever read. It really is so frustrating that this can never be published because it’s so much better than a lot of what is on our shelves. Gena Showalter, J.R. Ward, Kresley Cole, Kathryne Kennedy, and any number of romance authors should be taking notes from you. I thought to myself as I read your story: why do I bother with these when things like this are on FFN? You made me realize this and subsequently swear off fiction. Yes, I’m done! Why bother when I have what I need right here?

I can’t say it enough. Touched is amazing. You are amazing. It was everything I wanted it to be and more. You raised the ship from the depths and patched the huge hole where the iceberg of “Gin was actually plotting against Aizen the whole time” hit and then pulled a Magellan on us all. I used to love AiGin so hard and then…yeah, that happened. SUCH MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. However, you have returned it to burning, plausible life in my heart. Now I have such thoughts as: did Aizen *really* kill Gin or was that all part of Aizen’s keikaku? I mean, let’s face it, he is totally still the Big Bad. The proof is in the fact Aizen declined a chance to be free from his 20,000 year punishment. It’s all right there and so obvious and Kubo is, once again, throwing straw men around in an effort to distract us from the truth.

In any case, I now wonder about Gin and even about Kira and their loyalties to the Gotei. It makes me happy you are so wonderfully prolific because I hope you have written on this matter post-Arrancar Arc. I plan to read First Contact next and then savor your other stories.

This is also a time when I doubt my capability as a writer. It happens when I read something so good that it makes me feel like a big nothing.

When I first saw your fanfics at the top of the 'completed' list, I felt compelled to read it. Like, perhaps I owe it to the both of them, to see things from their view, their reasons, their actions, their betrayals, and their love. Then I had to choose between First Contact and Touched, which one do I read first? In the end I subconciously chose First Contact. I didn't really know why at that time, but by the time I finished First Contact, and got up to the wedding in Gin's Touched, I knew why I chose FC. I knew that it would so painful to read Gin's version because of his life, his choices, and his ultimate feelings. Personally, I loved both stories, but Gin's insights, and his fears are hitting a little too close to home, while in Aizens, I couldn't diferentiate between reality and truth. I appreciate your stories, and I encourage you to keep writing, both of these stories are unbelievably well written. But as I've mentioned before, they hit a little too close to home to continue. And for that, I thank you, and bid you adieu. As well as read your other fanfics.

My god. I don’t even know where to start. I’ve read and re-read every chapter of Touched and Caresses, and cried and fangirled over both of them. I’ve read most of First Contact, and have completely broken down over Shadow of Doubt and your stories involving Gin’s death. I never even shipped AiGin until I started reading Caresses the later chapters of Touched for the GinKira, but your portrayal of them – of everyone – completely blew me away and made me fall in love with … just everything in your chapters. These and your other fanfics have inspired countless headcannons in me and undoubtedly many other readers. I know for sure that I’ll be going back and re-reading all your Bleach stories time and time again, and in my opinion, you are one of the best fanfiction writers of all time; I’ve read all the most popular Bleach and Naruto fanfics, with thousands and thousands of reviews, and yet none of them has moved me the way your medley of Aizen/Gin/Kira has.
While I am more than saddened to hear that this story is ending, and that you’ll no longer be producing such inspiring and beautiful works anymore, I’m not going to be so selfish as to whine about it. I actually cried at your author’s note at the end, but I completely understand that sometimes, other things have to take priority if life. I hope you have the best, most amazing time with whatever you’re putting your heart into now. Rest assured that your amazing stories will NEVER be forgotten, by me or any of the other readers.

Gin is so much a selfish man, and so are we. I am looking forward to the next chapter. Part of me wonders how this is going to effect Kira? I am worried of how he will view Aizen and Gin together. He know the truth but it is one thing knowing and another seeing it. Aizen seems more and more slightly intrigued with Kira as well. The thoughts of Gin about not loving Kira as he deserve was really sad. I am glad you are finishing these. I can understand that at some point these have to come to an end as they have grown into these epic pieces of work. Your stories have provided me with hours of entertainment, and I can see the effort you have made when writing them. It really is appreciated.

Wow. I am totally hooked on this fic. It is extremely captivating. I could not put it down after I came across it. I read it until now and just realize that I'm a little over half way toward the ending. I must say this is extremely well-written. Character developments are great. A slight OOC for Aizen, but as I keep reading, his personality comes pretty close to the original. Very very good. I felt bad for continuing to read and didn't review earlier. But seriously, I could stop reading! I cant wait to see how the plot will continue and how this fic will end...plus the lemons are delicious :D. Keep up the good work. Awesome Aizen/Gin fic!
